  • :D thanks for the comment/prediction!

OH the rebels! I actually completely forgot about them... xD You just reminded me that I need to bring them back in the story. Thanks!

  • :D :D :D
I only wish TVD had a theme song so I could sing along to it. But alas, it only has the creepy title thing.

  • Don't listen to the spoilers, girl!! CLOSE THY EARS. >.<

Yeah, it's so unexpected how you end up loving the characters you initially hated. Another reason why this show is so unpredictable and amazing. :D Now go catch up to the newest episode so I can rant about it with you.

  • OH my gosh, if you like the first season, you will LOOOOOOVE seasons 2 and 3. I personally thought season one was boring and kinda meh ~_~. And then season two came, and it's like the writers totally stepped it up. :D Caroline of all people becomes one of my favorite characters because they make her soooo lovable and amazing in the 2nd season. ^___^ It's such a shock considering I loathed her in S1. :D YAY. And Tyler. Ohhhhh my gosh. And Damon. Always Damon. AND JEREMY just suddenly gets cute in S2 also. xD it's like they amped up S2 and 3 with addiction steroids or something.

    *done raving*

  • ^__^ V's brilliant! Not scary at all.

Do you watch The Vampire Diaries? *___* I'm absolutely in love with that show. Once it gets into the 2nd and 3rd seasons, I think it has to be my favorite show. *cough* Ian Somerhalder may have something to do with that *cough* But the plot is just so complicated and addicting! :D

  • See, that's exactly why I hate them. xD After I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre the Beginning, I was terrified to go in my basement, even in broad daylight.

Captain America was disappointing... :( My friend and I got really bored through that one. I'm super excited for The Avengers! :D Did you hear about that new Spiderman one, too? I don't see how it's any different from the other Spiderman movie... but I'll give it a shot.

YES, WATCH V FOR VENDETTA. IT'LL BLOW YOUR MIND. But I guess it isn't a movie for everyone. I saw a lot of similarities with SuperHero, so I just fangirled. xD (No crazy psychopaths, though. :P)

  • Oo yeah, I was in a ton of clubs in high school. :) Didn't do anything in 'em... xD Just wanted to write them on my transcript.

A sleepover! Cool! Agh, I hate scary movies... Can't stand them because then I'm always afraid to take a shower. >__>

I need to watch Thor still! Hehe, I started loving all the superhero movies after I began writing SuperHero. :D V For Vendetta's my absolutely favorite so far.

  • Hehe. :)
Naw, it's really not that big of a deal. Anything related to Cleon, Kairi, and Joren turns into a big deal to me. xD

Anyway, what are you up to these days?
    October 18th, 2011 at 12:26am
  • Lol, sorry! Don't worry, there'll be plenty to keep you occupied in this book. :D My favorite Cleon x Kairi x Joren scene in this book is coming up in the next chapter. I'm very excited! xD Okay, well, it's not that great, but I think it's adorable. The strange part is that I like it more for how Joren acts because it's the REAL Joren, the Joren that should've been. But that side of him gets beaten down and covered up really quickly. So I love showing his good moments whenever I get a chance. ^__^ And then you see how great a friend Cleon is to both Kairi and Joren. :D And how sweet and considerate Kairi is to Cleon. :DDD AHh. I'll shut up now. Lol, I just love these characters so much!

  • Leviathan's a girl! :D
Or actually... Hm. Do Beasts even have genders? If they do, then Leviathan's a girl. xD Naw, I don't think they do because there's only one Leviathan and one Behemoth and one everything else. And they don't mate or anything.

Hehe, I absolutely love it when Cle and Kai become One. :D I already wrote that chapter years ago, but it won't show up until the 4th book.

  • Thanks for the comment!
I'll try to have the next chapter out soon if I can finish my studying quickly today. Probably not since I put off so much for so long... but I'll try. :)

  • Ooo that's great! :D
Haha, I can't dance to save my life. I have no coordination at all. I'm good a piano, and that's pretty much it. But I'm not even THAT great at it since I taught myself. Writing is the one thing I'm most confident in. 8D Drawing too, to an extent.
    October 7th, 2011 at 08:05pm
  • Ooo well, that's great that you know! A lot of people keep going at it even though they don't have an aptitude for it. But hey, if you enjoy it, who cares whether you're good or not, right? :) Like me and singing. I'm horrendous, but I still belt out to songs when I'm alone in my room with the door closed.

  • Thanks for the story comment, again! (:

  • Eh, I never know how my stories will end. Okay, that's a lie.. I know the LAST scenes of everything, but never anything in the middle.
Just keep practicing! Write a little bit every day! (I should follow my own advice)
    October 5th, 2011 at 09:31pm
  • Yup, exactly! That's also why I can't start a story and stick to it till the end. I have to have other distractions at the same time, otherwise I get bored.
    October 5th, 2011 at 04:19pm
  • Haha, thank you! :)
Yeah, I love reading and watching things with deeper meanings and symbolisms that make me think, so I do that with SuperHero. but DAANNGG it's really taking a toll on my brain! I'm always so mentally exhausted after writing a chapter of SH. :P That's why I have Stray and TGL. Stray's the story that lets me get my stupid out. TGL's my mood lifter. :)

The way Elena's acting is influenced by Hero's psychopathy. A person who is psychopathic can make you fall in love with them really fast, and once they've got you, you'll never want to leave no matter how much they hurt you. In my research, I kept seeing over and over how if you fell in love with someone who was psychopathic, even if someone told you that the person was crazy and evil or whatever, you wouldn't believe them. It doesn't matter how obvious it is that they're hurting and using you--you'll be so blinded by the good times you had with them, and you'll keep hoping that you can experience that again. That's what's happening to Ellie. I dunno if I told you this story, but my psychology professor told me how her mother fell in love with a psychopathic man (at least, my professor, now knowing a great deal about the disorder, believed him to be), and even though he LEFT her, she FOLLOWED him. She found him with another woman, and only then did she finally let him go, but even to this day, she admitted that she's still in love with him. So that's the power of a psychopath. :(

Have you seen Death Note? That's the feeling I got with Light (the main guy) who's psychopathic. I was ABSOLUTELY in love with him even though he was a mass murderer, and then he killed one of my other favorite characters, and although I hated him for a while (like a couple episodes) I was still in love with him, and I kept hoping that maybe he'd change, maybe he'd go back to being that charming, passionate guy I originally fell in love with, but he just kept getting worse, hurting more and more people all the time. :( There's this girl, Misa, that's in love with him in the series, and she KNOWS she's being used, but she gives up her life for him anyway.
So that's where I got the biggest inspiration for Ellie and Hero's relationship. :P

Hmmm deeper meaning...Well, you already know my mask metaphor. I was telling someone this today: the story is about humanity at its worst, but the irony is that it's titled SUPERHERO, which is a figure that's supposed to be the portrayal of humanity at its best. I dunno, those are the general ideas and themes I want to get across with this story. :)
