Yeah, I had a friend who got banned for getting into an argument with another user, who didn't get banned or anything. I don't really remember Dru that much; she's been gone for at least a year now.

It was honestly dumb. They stopped because a lot of users started complaining. Good on those users, though. We had some users who truly needed it, and others that got it done to them for a really stupid reason.

I used to have serious beef with the user Dru [insert whatever fucking slogan here]. She used to make me so damn mad. I'm sorry, I don't mean to like bring it up, but it really annoyed me -- er, she did I mean.

Definitely noticed that! Also we had that one time where the moderators were going ban-happy and banned a lot of people. A lot of users got disenchanted and started leaving. I was banned at some point, lol. Boy was I angry as fuuuuck.

Yeah. The only bad thing is that a lot of people left and it's a lot less...vibrant (?) now. Or seems to be.

Yes! I remember that. I also remember our profiles being shown right away, versus having the Profile button in the corner and all of that jazz. I kinda miss it, but eh. I like this one just as much.

No, no not at all lol. I tend to take forever to respond, too. I'm always working, or just not really able to get on. I now live in a household where I don't always have time for myself, so it's odd that I get to get on here more often.

You wouldn't believe how many damn jerks I've had to deal with. I've worked at at least four properties. I'm on my fourth one now -- no wait, I've worked at five.

One I didn't have to deal with many, I was a housekeeper. And another I was briefly at, I was working the night audit shift. I was earning 12 an hour and my bosses were so cut throat, I hate them. I ended up fired because a car got broken into. Jerks.

The property I'm at now is pretty nice and I plan on staying for a long time. I'm already on the floor by myself, I picked up their routine quickly, lol. So maybe I will end up going after all, just gotta stop being lazy.

Oh! That's not too bad...right? What state do you live in, if you don't mind me asking?

I live about an hour from the school.

And Hospitality seems like a really good field to get into, though I guess you'd have to be good at dealing with jerks, because you're working with people. So props to you for that.

Have you been to the school at all? I keep thinking I should go back, but...I'm lazy? Scared? I'm not sure. I want to go in for the Hospitality industry, seeing as all I know is hotel front desk would be neat to learn the business aspect of it, y'know?

I'm undecided as heck.

I did find a school, but I ultimately chose it because money. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't want to be buried in loans.

No worries at all! From your last few blogs and from what I can remember, did you end up finding a school you like? I may be so out of the loop though. I'm having a subpar week, wish it could be a little better, but other than that I'm fine. I've been dying to write, but don't know what to write about.

I've had a bunch of ideas, but nothing stems out. the struuugle T_T
