it's hard for anyone who writes about stuff that isn't popular fanfiction or romance. i write a lot of other genres but don't really post them on here because there doesn't seem to be a huge audience for it.
but what can you do, right?

yeah, definitely.
i think the increased attention to the writing on here is good though, like with the featured stories/poems and stuff. because when it comes down to it, most of the people on here want people to read their work and there's been a lot more effort towards making that the main goal.

you should've seen the chaos when they first introduced the new site.
i guess it's turned into more of a self-expression website (with the blogs and stuff) than a social one
