    It was the Somewhere Back In Time tour, so they played really early stuff, like from Powerslave and before. And they did an awesome rendition of Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

    Iron Maiden was freaking, awesomely, fantastically wicked! I officially dub it the best show of my life. It was totally packed, and I managed to defend a position on the rail, where I was even close enough to get asphyxiated by all the smoke and fireworks. It was a fight to get to the front, and a lot of big guys sustained concussions or passed out from the pressure, but heck it was worth the beating. It was a fiasco- fire, costumes, half a carved pirate ship, full scenery, enough mist to gas part of the crowd and a giant cyborg... Pretty much everything you could ask for. Yep, I will be wearing this shirt for at least a week.
