No, I totally get you. They reran the documentary the weekend after she died and it made me cry. She was such a smart and mature young girl, and all the odds were stacked against her. And she's just one of many kids who deal with it... we can only hope for medical advancements.
Because a poem is what started this conversation,
I wrote this one for you
It is not mean, not telling you to fuck off,
and not calling you names.
If you have a moment, I'd like for you to read it.
Sure, but thats not what I do all day, just so you know.
I have a job, I have a boyfriend, I have tons of friends.
I go to school. I do not smoke, or do drugs, or drink.
I am a healthy person, overall. I have my problems,
but we all do. I come onto mibba every now and then,
write a poem or read a little.
I wasn't telling your brother how to write,
I was telling him that he could improve.
And I'm wondering if you have finally realized that I am not talking crap,
if that is why you have given up talking to me.
I guess it doesn't really matter.
I hope you have a great day, a great life.
I hope your brother continues writing,
and expressing himself,
and maybe learns that it can be good to
improve.
Good luck.
When did I call his song bad?
Honestly, you are striking at me.
Or do you tell everyone that they make the world bad and it would be better off without them?
I never said they were bad songs.
And I never said that he didn't say the truth in them.
I stated that he was rude by telling me to fuck off when I gave him CONSTRUCTIVE critism. not all critism is bad.
If people are not told what they do is wrong, or told that it could be done better, they will never learn to improve.
You striking at me with words will not change that fact.
i understand that that is his opinion,
but that doesn't make it okay to tell every single person that tries to help him that they do not give a crap.
I wouldn't go as far as you said, but if that is how you feel, fine.
I am sorry that I ofended you by saying he shouldn't have made an account,
I understand that I went a little far, but I was hurt by the fact that he basically told me to shove it.
It is true that if he does not want critism he should disable comments, however. Not everyone is going to like his work, and as a serious writer, he should learn to accept that.
You can find our conversation on our pages,
but his response to my poem comment was this:
"I Don't Care, Don't Like It, Don't Look, Simple"
I have been a member of mibba for years. This site has become a webhome for me. When I commented on his poem I did it with the intention of helping your brother better his writing skills. His comment may not have been down right saying F* off, but it might as well have. No one likes critism, but to become a great writer, you should take other peoples advise to consideration, not bash them and be ungreatful.
Your brother should understand that for a lot of people this site is more than just teenagers posting random fan fics. It's about developing skills and interacting with fellow writers. This site is important to me, and I hope your brother does not treat others as he did me.
Yea well i live in the south so its kinda hard when both parenty love country & don't want to listen to anything else & we also had no internet when i was growing up
I understand where you are coming from, but this website is for more than just putting your stuff out there. A lot of people want real honest opinions about their writing, and I found your brothers response to my cristism to be completely disrespectful. If he doesn't want people commenting on his poems, than he should adjust the settings to his needs, not be rude to people who actually care about what people are writing and want to help those who need it.
Same here & i also love avenged sevenfold & HIM & a whole lot more i love rock music & some rap punk metal almost everything except country i listened to that all the time when i was younger but i got tired of it
