I am aware of how completely unoriginal I am about to sound, but who really cares about me, just another practically anonymous Mibbian. Well, my name is Esther and I live in Australia. I have been inactive and active multiple times on Mibba, and have just recently found my way back here after a year. I am currently concentrating on writing The Other Side, my Harry Potter fan-fiction.
I have been obsessed with Harry Potter ever since I read the books, and I really am just writing this story because I really just enjoy writing and thinking about the Harry Potter world. So obviously there are flaws in my work, mainly because I'm not really re-reading through. But as for the major flaws, I am very much aware of them. For example, I do realise that third grade would mean that the characters would be thirteen years of age, and regular (or at least respectable) thirteen year olds would not be flirting and crushing and developing any serious relationships. Oops, spoilers! Yes, The Other Side will have romance, but hello, isn't that why you're reading it?
Anyway, screw the messed up ages. I picked third year because I was thirteen when I first started writing this (obviously, I have made some serious changes to the story since then), and also because I am so in love with Diagon Alley and the actual school grounds, and I felt that sticking with the earlier years gave me more space to explore these simple and amazing aspects of the series.
