About

When a person first meets me, there's a lot of things they don't realize. Little do they know that this quiet person is at least a little off the wall. I discovered the show Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was in elementary school, and it ended up being a lifelong love. I mean, Data the android is one my favourite characters, ever. Thanks to the wonderful crew of the Enterprise-D, I'll always love science fiction and stories that push the boundaries of everyday life.

Reading and writing have always gone hand-in-hand for me. I've been glued to books ever since I could understand the words, and I've dreamed of being an author since I was in grade school. It's a fantasy I've never been able to quite give up. Writing is a huge stress-reliever for me, a gateway out of my boring life, and something that comes as naturally to me as breathing.

Music and my art go hand in hand. Be it my drawing, writing, or other things, one often influences the other. Lyrics and melodies often move me in ways that real-life dramas never can. I owe a lot of my creativity to the works of Alan Jackson and My Chemical Romance. Alan for his sweet songs about love and loss, and My Chemical Romance for giving me that desire to make something of myself someday. Without that wonderful band I never would have believed I could amount to something. Their music got me out of depression and back into life itself, trying new things, and just driving me to grow as a person. I'll never forget everything their wonderful music has done for me.

And I owe a special thanks to Gerard Way, even though he doesn't even know I exist. Without his art I never would have tried to draw again, and I never would have found that part inside of me that had been there all along. He's the first person I could ever call a hero, and I wish I could thank him in person someday for the impact he's had on my life.

Come see my art.
