Well, I;m not sure if it was FOR peace, but the protestors were doing it in a peaceful, non-violent way. And apparently one of the police men over-reacted or thought something bad was happening when it wasn't and shot him and killed him.

And it all went bad from there.

A guy got shot during a peacefulprotest and that turned into full blown rioting and retaliation. It's apparently really crazy over there now.
