Gosh, I hate heat. I was in two places. Baitoa, which is super hot. And there's a lot of people. A lot of my family is there and there's a little river, you walk in a stream and the water hits you on your ankles until you get to this big one where there's a lot of water. And there's trees everywhere. It's beautiful. I thought I was in one of those Discovery Channel episodes, but without crocadiles. haha And it's super hot there. But almost everyone uses motorcycles so that was fun. Even though I was scared because there's always accidents.
In Jarabacoa, it's sooo darn hot. I mean, I was dying. And there's hardly any women there! People hit on you like every second. It's one after the other. At one point, I was in my cousin's car with my aunt and this other guy. I had the door open because it was super hot. And then this homeless guy comes and he's flirting with me. I always laugh when people flirt with me, but you legit think these guys are going to kidnap you. Because they'll be like, 'Come here baby. Sit on papa's lap.' And there will be like ten of them. So I was scared for my life.
And La Sida, that place is beautiful. It's where my family lives. There's only five single women there, me, 17, a 10 year old, a 13 year old, and a 14 year old. And a girl with mental problems. And boy, do people hit on you there. But since almost everyone in that small town are family, they had my back. haha. But it's fun there and at my cousin's house you would get so much wind. It was amazing.
These are actually mountains there. It's so beautiful. I can't wait to go back.
