I was one last year. This year I've moved up a notch on the totem pole. Now I'm a sophomore. Oh, the joy.

People used to tell me that'll I'd feel different, more empowered, more important, when I made the jump from fish to I don't even know what a sophomore is called. But, I still feel the same. I dunno if that's just me, or if I'm just fucked in the head :)

Haha, I get what you're trying to say. And, no, you didn't sound crazy :)

I understand what you're trying to do. Smother your past self before it can slaughter the new spirit you're creating.

    I admire you for that.

You're not allowing the shit people spat at you to bring you down. You're taking off the weights that are dragging you down into the deep, dark depths of yourself. Into that one place we all possess that can devour our deams, our happiness, our souls if given even the tiniest of tastes of our doubts or insecurities.

When the time comes for your past and future selves to fight to the death, I hope your future self kicks major ass :)

well I for one adore you.

and I just started school this week
but all my time is already invested.
and ah that college thing, I'm going through
    the same stressful process.
hopefully I'll do well enough to get what I want
and I wish the best for you also :)

Take your time. It's your story. You can take as long you want to get it done.
Besides, that's the one thing that gets on my nerves. I HATE when people annoy you to work faster.

Hello, ever heard of the phrase "Perfection takes time"?
Haha, I love that saying :)

I'm sorry to hear about your course load, but I hope you can make it through your "re-birth" :) There is no way to make that sentence sound right in my brain.

And sadly, yes, I am in school. And I already hate it with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns. I can't wait till I'm out. Even if that mean I have to get a job. Anything to get away from those goddamn projects.

    Just three more years.

Anyways, what exactly is the goal you're willing to be "reborn" for?
If you don't mind my asking.

Your mother sounds like an amazing person to meet :)

Name the time and place and I will gladly accompany you.
Everyone needs a good riot every once in awhile :)

Anyways, how's school going for you?
If you've started, that is. (If you haven't, you're a lucky little somebody)

    Thank you :)

You said your mother lived there, but wasn't born there, right? So she must of lived there for a long while to understand and speak the language fluently? Damn, your mom's got some patience.

And I have a feeling you will end up in Paris. I mean, you seem so in love with the city. Hell, even your story shows that. (I never knew Bijou was french, by the way. I absolutely love how it rolls off the tongue.)

Hell yeah we will! In all honesty, I think this generation desperately needs a feminist movement. Too much shit is being shoved into little girls' minds that doesn't need to be there.

But that's my opinion, my view, how I see the world.

Oh, I know what you mean. My great aunt is one of those women. I swear there is not one thing in her closet that isn't covered in rhinestones. But I can't help but love her for it :) No matter how tacky looking some of the stuff is.

Really? You're lucky. (By the way, what is the french word for "shoes". I'm curious now.) The only thing my mom knows how to say is cuss words in Spanish. ALTHOUGH that has come in handy from time to time.... I won't say anymore other than my mom has an extremely bad case of road rage.

I don't know what got me on Batman, but I loved Catwoman and Posion Ivy when I was growing up. Hell, I still do! If me reading your story means anything :)

But, yeah, when I was little I was always drawn to the kickass women. The ones that could take care of themselves and snap someone's neck just as easily as any man could. (Wonder Woman, baby!)

Eh, dazzles aren't too bad, but after today, if I see another dazzle I'm gonna kill somebody. I went shopping with a friend and she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES dazzles on the ass.

Yeah, from what I can understand, he hasn't exactly been the best governor we've ever had, and if he DOES become head honcho this country's gonna be fucked.

And not in the awesome, toe curling, voice losing, I-get-to-visit-cloud-nine-kind-of-way either.

I would LOVE to go to Paris. I've always loved the accent. Makes even the ugliest of words sound like gems (if that made sense to you).
But, if France won't except me, I'm off to Sydney :)

If I were a stripper my name would be Sparkles.
    Or Veronica.
    Which ever sounds sluttier :)

Really? I thought they quit making yall were those types of outfits a LONG time ago. But, hey, that's just me. We used to have uniforms too. Just a plain collared shirt and blue jeans. Dazzles weren't allowed and you'd get sent to the office or have to go to the restroom to wipe off your make up if it was too (what they deemed) "crazy".

But, yeah, I don't get into politics much (Hell, I bombed a government test in my World Geo class) but I don't like Perry either.
    He scares me.

Anyways, I don't see way they have to take away the Fine Arts classes. We have tons of sports classes, and classes that we honestly don't need, so why don't we get rid of those instead?

    you're so welcome,
I'm glad you liked the banners btw.

and actually I did at some point want to leave for college
but it just seems too soon now and too unrealistic.
so for now more school in Michigan,
but hopefully after that I can pack up and
    start somewhere completely new.

Led Zeppelin is awesome, almost as awesome was the ZZ Top beards :)

Do you have to wear that uniform or is that just tv jabber too?

You're school sounds cool, WAY cooler than mine. At my school everyone is obsessed with sports (like I guess every school is) and FFA type stuff, which gets extremely annoying, especially when the teachers try to drill into your brains between each lesson plan.

Dude, this is blowing my mind!
    Who would of thought?
    Dude :)

I know someone who goes to catholic school!
Is it really as scary as the ones I see on tv?
Or is that just a bunch of bullshit?

ooo now I'm excited and I started making
you one also because your new part was genius,
(didn't see any of it coming!)
there's like eight versions of my banner though
so I'll just send the codes via quizilla
then you can pick your fav or take all :)

oh yes it's been considered and stressed over all ready.
I'm think about persuading a career in teaching literature,
so I'm thinking of the schools my own teachers attended.

    HOLY SHIT, indeed!
And here I thought you lived up somewhere in New York, or something.

I know, so many damn questions!
Which of the dozens of districts do you go to?
    I only know of like....one.

The bo-dunk little town is Santa Fe, not many people really know it, but it's right next door to Alvin.
And I go to the High School, so creatively named after the same bo-dunk little town.

    Seriously?

I live in Texas too! Like an hour away from Houston in some bo-dunk little town forty minutes from the gulf.

(Don't worry, I'm not into that kinda thing lol.
Well, at least I hope not...)

    Lionus, the poor dear.
I wonder what they're gonna do?
    :)

Dude, as soon as I get my license, I'm dragging my ass down to the closest one :)

I wonder if they do one in Houston?

    But, anyways...

Chickadee! Linous! Why poor, sweet, (don't know how innocent) Lionus!

P.S. I just had to do that :)

Oh by the way I love the two new parts,
I don't know what I'd do without your brilliant story for inspiration
and not to mention entertainment ;)
