Let's say I'm a 40 year old and that I was one of the many acts that was performing at an IHeartRadio Concert. Okay. Well, I absolutely wouldn't be a brat about it. I might even be respectful, because that's what grown adults do. From Associated Press, Green Day apologized "to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival" and said its set was not cut short by Clear Channel, the host of the two-day festival. Thought you might like to see that.
I'm sure he would have found something else to be a child about. He mentions in his rant that he's been around since 1988? Surely long enough to learn how to respect and have manners, you'd think.
I can think of a million ways for an adult man that is 40 and has a family to handle such a thing. It was concert for radio! Not a Green Day concert. How big of an ego Armstrong must have of himself. Usher is just as much someone who creates music as Green Day. Maybe not music up to your standards, but music, nonetheless.
Yes, a good solution for being upset is to use that time to complain and bitch and not do what you were booked at a concert (that isn't for you) to do. I can't agree with that. Personally, I think he should have grown up a long time ago.
I got notified when you mentioned me in your comment. I wanted to tell you that: No, I'm not sending hate to Green Day's frontman or his family and friends. He acted like a child, that's as close to a fact as an opinion can get. I didn't make it up to "hate him" or be a "hater". It was his own actions that led me (and many, many others) to that conclusion. Did I mention he's a 40 something year old mannish boy?
I'm kind of in the middle of taking a break from writing that story being I can't think past what I want to do after the next few chapters. But after I figure it out I will start posting chapters again. xD In the mean time I am working on other band fan fictions. xP
