suddenly music has brought itself back into my life. it's always been there, just hiding in the corners and tip-toeing on the fray of everything i stand for. music is like faith. if you look close enough you might see it, displayed in a different form a miracle every time. without it, everything around me was a little blurry. with it, i can do anything. but visions of sugarplum fairies are far from my line of sight. i see all of the pain and suffering that this world endures, even if everyone else would like to look past it. but i see what the world can do when we love. the stars could fall from the heavens and land like raindrops in your palm, music could jump to life and become visible for everyone to see...but nothing will ever be as beautiful as love. without love we'd all be lost. even the fact that it's out there, waiting for you, should be enough to keep you going through this disaster of a life. "love is like oxygen" and it brings you to places you never thought you could go before. i could walk the surface of the sun, sleep at the bottom of the ocean...i'd be alive because of this love in my heart. it's this thing that i can't contain, and all i can wish for is to share it with someone else. i can see that love is the color of the sky, or the sound of someone tapping on your window, or the taste of fresh strawberries. it's anything. recently i fall asleep to the voices of the people on the television, telling me about things that i don't particularly care about. or the harsh sound of silence, screaming me to sleep and telling me that i'll be safe within it's arms. i don't really believe it, but i believe in music. i believe in love. i believe in believing.
