This is my first update! Yaaay! Anyway, I submitted my first chapter of We Both Catch Fire, a fan-fiction that I've started to just get me back into the writing habit. It's a bit drabbley, I might even delete it if nothing goes well. I'd love it if you checked it out
Hi there! Beth here. I'm happy to have you visiting my profile. My own little corner of the internet, where my writing lives and (hopefully) thrives and grows.
I'm a young woman from Ohio and after taking a semester-long creative writing course in high school, I love to write. I want to be a professional opera singer when I finish college, but writing is one of my favorite pastimes. I struggle with getting started sometimes, and I'm still working on coming up with unique characters and plots, but we're all constantly improving, so I guess that helps.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about your writing, or offer tips on mine (polite, constructive criticism is always appreciated)!
I find that my writing tends to lean to the mature, darker side of things, though it might not always be completely apparent. Expect the unexpected: that is my goal. I love to read science fiction, fantasy and mysteries, though I tend to write realistic fiction because I'm not the best at writing fantasy or sci-fi yet. Maybe I'll find my niche. I like to experiment. I don't feel that any writer should hold back, writers should be able to write what they like, regardless of religion, sexual orientation, language, the list goes on. Every piece of writing is important toward making a good writer, and every good writer is a step toward a better world.
