Will always find their kind."
ABOUT
Mood: Restless.
Music of the Day: Pyro - Kings of Leon.
Hi, I’m
Sarah. I’m new to Mibba but I’m really to eager to get to know people here and to get any feedback for my story,
Frozen, which I’m hoping to publish at some point in the future. So please check it out if you get a chance :).
I’m a 16-year-old Christian with a lot of passions - writing, reading, singing, playing piano, music and acting are the things I live for. I am a humungous
Potterhead, a self-confessed
Ravenclaw and a
Pottermore-beta tester. I say self-confessed because that wonderful site put me in
Gryffindor, a house I adore but don’t feel I belong in. I appreciate and value my early entry so much, but come
Oct. 31st never, apparently, we shall see where my fate trulylies :).
Music;
Paper Route,
Paramore,
Muse – my three greatest loves. I’ve been lucky enough to see the first two live, twice. I will never forget any of those three nights; they were some of the best of my life, especially the last, on August 6th this year. Meeting Paper Route, three guys who are some of the people I
idolise and
awe most in the world was something incredible. To actually have conversations with
JT,
Gavin and
Chad is something that will stay with me
forever, and I hope I’ll get the chance to do it again. Travelling 150 miles to a gig is a great conversation starter. Their music is
hypnotic and connects with me on a level I don’t understand, and don’t want to. I may cry when I hear their second, upcoming album for the first time. And Paramore…boy, do they pack a punch. The atmosphere is
electric at one of their concerts, something you only can begin to imagine in their recorded music. I was
terrified and
joyous all at once when I stood for the first time amongst thousands of people screaming and singing and throwing themselves around because of it.
Hayley,
Taylor,
Jeremy: I love you. And Muse – are there words for you too?
Matt Bellamy has one of the most diverse voices I’ve ever heard. He reminds me of Freddie Mercury in so many ways.
Dom and
Chris are just as talented as Matt; I’ve never seen anyone drum with as much intensity as Dom, and Chris seems to have so much presence on stage. I would do a lot to see them live. Also, Queen, the Beatles and MJ – three
legends of music that changed our world for good, and for the better. Their epic, passionate work will stay with us for many generations to come.
Books; I am a huge lover of them. I’ve been
absorbed by reading since I was a toddler, when my mum taught me to read before I started school. I think the obsession really started when I was six or seven, when she started reading the
Harry Potter series to me and my sister, so like many other millions of children all over the world, I have J.K Rowling to thank for this
passion, and probably for my
love of writing too. That woman is a genius and someone I really admire, with all my heart. I also love Cassandra Clare’s
Mortal Instruments and
Infernal Devices, Lauren Kate’s
Fallen Novels, L.J. Smith’s
Vampire Diaries, Becca Fitzpatrick’s
Hush, Hush Saga, Veronica Roth's
Divergent Trilogy, Christopher Paolini’s
Inheritance Cycle, Suzanne Collins'
Hunger Games Trilogy and many others. The list will go on forever if I try to recite them all. Books are a very great gift to us, and they are the best medicine to a bad mood, the best way of escaping reality and the best way to spend a quiet
afternoon day at home. Or at school. Or in bed. Or anywhere, really. As my sister says, I will
devour them.
TV; Doctor Who,
The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, Glee, Torchwood, True Blood, The Fades, and more quiz shows than I can mention. Namely Total Wipeout. There is something impossibly funny about watching people fall off big red balls.
YouTube; I’m a big Tubefan. Charlie McDonnell (I really would marry him), Alex Day, Julian Smith and VERY POTTER (Starkid). Those guys are amazing. I have never laughed so hard at something online before, or even at a play…the script is genius, the music gives me goose-bumps, the actors are perfect and the whole shows are amazing. WHAT THE HELL IS A HUFFLEPUFF?!
Acting; my favourite roles:
Annie, Liesl (Sound of Music), Maggie (Dark River), Toad! (Wind in the Willows, musical). Oh, and I once played a unicorn. The song was great, the costume however…white lycra doesn’t do it for me.
If you read all of that, congratulations. You are either very bored, or uncommonly interested in what a stranger has to say. Or on the other hand, congrats on learning the skill of scrolling ;).
Frozen – aimed to be completed by
Summer 2012. Adena, Carson, Dylan and Gale like to do things by themselves. I could write about them
forever. I hope you will
read their story.
