You shouldn't ask people for their personal info. They will most likely be scared away and won't want to become friends. If you are sincere about getting to know people, the Internet isnt the safest way to do so, but if you must, Mibba has a delightful messaging center that I'm sure people would be happy to have conversations with you on. Just a warning that you may seem intimidating and a tad creepy this way.
