Finally back from france to answer your comment. Okay, I'll explain every part of your comment. It's already explained in the story, but I'll write it here to clarify.

Saffy's parents put the gang LEADER behind bars first - that's why the rest of the gang got revenge. Only then did her parents put the rest of the gang in prison,.
Also, it explains how little time her parents spent with her - meaning they wouldn't have noticed how scared she was because they were so focussed on their jobs.

A rehabilitation clinic isn't just for drugs. It can be for anything. I've researched them.

The therapist didn't demand trust, she just told Saffy she would have to learn to. If the therapist demanded trust, she would've said "you must trust us". But the therapist didn't say that.

Three hours for everything she owns? That's actually about right.

I just like the nickname Saffy lol. It's a name of a friend of mine.
