I guess I've made it pretty obvious that those ol' 08-09 and 09-10 Blackhawks teams really mean a lot to me. The first place I go for research is to videos from those seasons. Yeesh. Thank you for reading and thank you for commenting on Call It Off!

I didn't exactly put Kaylie and Kris together at the end of the last Luke chapter...but I'll take all the forgiveness I can get. :P

I'm glad you like my writing and the story. There are a lot of wacky excuses out there for lack of editing and revising, and I agree, that drives me crazy as well. I think that, naturally, people are really attached to what they wrote, especially after they've just written it. When I finish a chapter, after one read through, I put it away for some time before looking at it again. I think it's much easier to look at something with a critical eye once I've detached myself from it. If, on average, it takes me about a week to write a chapter, then I feel like I have to spend at least a week editing it. I can't imagine not combing through my chapters carefully - and even then, when I go back and read something months later, I'll see something I missed and be horrified.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks so much for all the nice things you said in your last comment! There are surprises ahead in a couple of chapters. Happy to have you on board!

Thanks for your comment, I do like the criticism. I never really wanted the story to go much into detail about Kelsey's life because i enjoy reading stories that involve team outings all the time so that's why i based my story off that. Plus i don't use spell check or reread before i post.. but i should definitely get on that :)

Thanks so much for your compliment! I tend to be a spelling/grammar freak as well, though I'm sometimes so spent at the end of a chapter (or anxious to get it out, if I feel I've kept people waiting) that a quick proofread is all I can manage. I reread months later, find a mistake and cringe!
