Hello. Well, what do I say? I'm Katie, hi! I'm an aspiring author and hope to have at least my first book published within the next five years. I'm 18 and currently a waitress, although I'm still looking for a full time job to help fund me (because I tend to spend before I save) and I hate being a waitress, since I am quite clumsy. I like to read, a lot and I tend to stick to reading fantasty/sci-fi/romance novels more than any others. My whole bookshelf is full of books about vampires, werewolves, angels, demons and anything supernatural I can think of. Although I love the books I read, for the plot or the characters, I'm not an obsessive fan girl who literally stalks the likes of Robert Pattinson for about four hours just to say hi. I'd stalk him for about a few minutes before I'd get over the brief miracle of meeting that man, but I much prefer the likes of the Skarsgard, Alexander Skarsgard that is. Yummy.

I write nearly every day but if I don't take measured breaks I loose inspiration; I need to visit places, go out, meet people, do new experiences to help my brain exercise to be able to describe and write. I do a lot of fan fiction writing, as my link up there is my profile ^^ why don't you check it out? Again with that, I loose inspiration a lot, so sometimes it takes me a while to update my stories, but I do get back to it; I once had a true blood fan-fiction on that site with at least 25+ chapters - that for me, without loosing inspiration, is a lucky shot!

I'm not a drinking girl, I don't smoke, I don't do things I know I'll regret later; I always double check things, re-think things and discuss it with someone else to get a second thought on it. I'm a shy girl really, but get to know me and I'll never stop talking. I'm quite protective over my writing and I only post some of writing on here if it's not something I wish to be published or believe it is good enough to get published one day, but not an urgent project. I like to read other people's ideas and give feedback, I am a keen beta reader and I am willing to give out my advice/feedback as much as anyone wishes me to - as long as it doesn't take over my time and stops me from keeping up with deadlines in my stories.

I, myself, do like to get feedback as well. I take it well, so don't feel scared to write something quite... risky, because I will take it as well as I can. I will use it to my abilities and try my best to improve my writing. All in all, I'm friendly, kind, caring, wild, crazy but shy at first, open to meeting anyone and everyone!
