Hey guys, my names Katie. I am a Louisiana-born country girl that enjoys rock music, mud-riding, black eyeliner, and fishin'. Confused yet? I guess I'm a bit of a contradiction. Kind of like my writing, verses my personality. The dark and depressing poetry I write is the exact opposite of my hyper, joking personality. Yes, black and red are my favorite colors. Yes, I've had a complicated life. Yes, I have my depressed days. And, yes, I know what fear is. But I know that I wouldn't be who I am without the trials I've been through. I know that God has a plan for me, so I'm not going to waste time looking back at what has gone wrong in my life. I'm still here. I'll keep writing, because it's a way for me to vent my anger, and release a lot of the feelings that I don't want to feel. I am going to move forward. And I hope I can help other people do the same. :)
