Hello everyone! My name is Andrea.

I write to escape from reality and for the fun of it. It's cathartic and beautiful, and sometimes easier to have characters say what you want to say but are too afraid to.

When you write, you're vulnerable, it's such an intimate and private act. I am sometimes afraid to show others what I've written, but I don't want to only write for myself so I bite the bullet and put it out there, nervously chewing my fingernails when a comment is posted or I am disappointed when there are no comments. Still it's out there and ready to be read.

I hope people are able to either relate to my characters, sympathize with them, or imagine the story in their minds as they read it. I hope my writing entertains or comforts.

If you were to ask anyone that knows me, they'd say that I am my own worst critic, and it's true. I fret over my words, re-writing and re-writing when it simply doesn't sound good enough.

But through it all, I come out a little freer, less stressed, and a little bit stronger.
