Sometimes I think I'm way over my head: has anyone else felt this?

My summer started close at the end of May, and yet, already I can feel my schools heavy influence already settling in. The truth of the matter is...I hate summer reading. Don't get me wrong I love books, even the books assigned to me by my school (ex: Pride and Prejudice, The Book Thief, Of Mice and Men, A Thousand Splendid Sun's, and so on).The truth of the matter is, is that it's my senior...

Who Watched Mermaids On Discovery Channel :D

So I sat down with my mom last night to watch this documentary on if mermaids are real or fake on Discovery Channel and I wasn't sure if it was a hoax because it reminded me so much of The Blair Witch Project but it was just so awesome I didn't care. I didn't care that the evidence was really shaky because I was having fun watching it. There was a lot of bashing on the Discovery Channell about how...

Denominations and Exorcisms

I always wondered why there were so many denominations in the Christian faith. My mom says I'm a baptist christian and when I was little I always wondered what was the difference between me and a catholic, or an evangelist . There are some differences and it used to confuse me but now that i'm older i've come to terms of what kind of Christian I am and I guess I'm just a Christian. I love God and...

I've learned soemthing today....AND BOY AM I HAPPY :D

So i'm super excited because I just found out that Stephanie Meyer's book The Host, which is in my opinion one of the best books she has written so far, is being made into a movie.Yayayayayayyay :D. I love that book and to me its way better than the Twilight series. I mean, don't get me wrong I love Twilight and all of its romantic vampirism but the movies ruined it for me. Those movies are the...

1. I can't choose what movie to see and 2. These Summer movies look hot.

So i'm contemplating what movie I want to see this weekend since my dad (God Bless him) has so graciously gave me money for my grades in school. I have 4 choices in mind:1. Chernobyl Diaries- I feel like seeing a scary movie but I don't know about this one. Wasn't a big fan of Paranormal Activity.2. Snow White and The Huntsman- Chris Hemsworth is my only reason for wanting to see that.3....

Big Girls Get Nightmares too

I had the worse dream ever the other night. It felt so real and when I woke up, I had to slap my hand over my mouth so I wouldn't scream, I was halfway off the bed panting. This wasn't even a dream, now that I think about it, but more of a nightmare. So, I have two younger brothers (I'm the eldest) and we were walking in this strange creepy house and....I lost them. They like, died in my arms, and...

Phobia

I'm the type of person that likes to boast that I'm not afraid of anything. I like to quote, "There's nothing to fear but fear itself," by FDR but I'm a liar. I am afraid and I feel fear because I'm human. There's tiny fears I have like arachnid-phobia and its not because I'm afraid those little eight legged insects are going to bite my head off. Its more about creepiness and how their eyes seem...

The Risks of Traveling

So, the other day I was watching this thing about human trafficking (and let me tell you it was terribly and horribly sad and in-human) on...well i actually forgot what channel it was on but anyway, yeah, these girls were from other countries, mostly tourist, and were tricked into becoming sex slaves. Now when I heard the stories of these ordinary happy girls and the torture they went through, I...

My top 4 favorite TV shows (at the moment)

OK, now this is going to be something like Rotten Tomatoes Top 5 but not so much. (If you don't know what Rotten Tomatoes is than you can Google it. Its a show on Current TV...or used to be, but it's pretty funny.)4. HEROESI started watching Heroes around the 2ND season and fell in love instantly with it. Their slogan 'Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" instantly drew me in and I watched all of...

Labels

So, this has been probing my mind for a while and I think I'm ready to actually say it...or write it (either way i'm expressing how I feel). Now the other day, a man was washing his car, minding his own business as he scrubbed the dirt off his automobile, and out of the blue, a car stopped right in front of his driveway. Now its ordinary for cars to ride up and down on this busy street this man...
