[In reply to your comment left on my journal]

Your situation two years ago sounds so much like mine. I'm talking to a lot of people, or at least I try to. I'm still getting human interaction, not just computer interaction xD But.. like you said, I'm just so tired, worn out, stressed out, depressed and sleep is the only thing that feels good. It's just so weird to go from rarely sleeping at all (being an insomniac) to sleeping all the time :/

Same with me! Good God, you've no idea what I've been through in the past three weeks. I had to cancer scares, a surgery, numerous bloodwork, doctor's visits, and a million and one other different things. And I just got back from the doctor's office a minute ago. I'M SO GLAD IT'S OVER! But I've been writing like crazy as well, hahah xD

Glad to hear that things are going good with you! <3

I would imagine. That's one where if people have a strong opinion on it, they think anyone who disagrees with them is evil. If you're for it, you think it's evil to force a woman to have a baby, and if you're against it, you think it's evil to abort a life.

My mom got mad at me one time, because I was watching her soap opera with her, making fun of it. And in one scene this lady had a baby and it cried through the ENTIRE scene, and I went, "JUST SHAKE THE DAMN THING ALREADY!"

I will send you the story very quickly. I got it edited yesterday, so let me know if you find anymore mistakes.

    New yesterday anyway. XD

We did Vegas last year! Can't we go somewhere a bit more refined?

Also, I have a short story for Isamophobia done, but it hasn't been edited. So, I can send it to you to read over (for an idea of what I was thinking of for our project) now, or you can wait until it's been edited.

I can guarantee it will be edited before the eighteenth, because I started writing it for the school's online magazine, and that's when they have to be in.

So, I think I have my first one based around Islamophobia figured out. It's the story of a father who is living in a community with some intolerance issues. Most of the community is very welcoming to them, but there are a few problems that they encounter. What ends up happening is his nine year old daughter begins to hate anyone who isn't Muslim.

I was writing it for the online literary magazine with the school. The theme is Making History, so I decided to go more of a, "What sort of history are we making?" route. And then, I thought the child aspect was exactly what I wanted to do with at least part of this project.

When I get it done I'll send it to you or something so you can see more clearly what I mean with my description of it, because I feel like that description was shit.

Thanks for the comment on "Tire Swing Memories"! Glad that you liked it. ^.^

Thanks for pointing out the two grammatical errors. That feedback really helps me with my writing.

Haha that is awesome! Mountain Dew forever!
I have a whole bunch of pop cans in my room too. My step-sister is constantly getting pissed at me to throw away my dirty food stuff because "antssssss!" Ever since an -hilarious- accident involving her, ants, and a 3 Musketeers, she's been very careful. haha.

America discriminates against anyone who doesn't look English. That's pretty much it. If you aren't easily identified as "white", someone hates you just for the way you look. But yes, Mexican is a huge one, since so many are coming here. We treat them like murderers when they're really only trying to find something better than they had back home.

Also, I thought of this while I was in the shower, I would like to do something with how this all effects the next generation. I've been around people who make racist comments while my niece is around, and it has me absolutely seething. To think that she's being taught that it's okay makes me sick. I think that's another important aspect with these issues.

Yeah, the homophobia one is big for me too. I'm actually really wanting to do Islamophobia though, because Rochester has a huge Muslim population, and I have to put up with hearing shit from stupid people against them all the time. I mean, you hear about a Muslim being attacked outside of a mosque in Rochester, and the person you're hearing it from sounds happy.

. . . Makes me want to hurt people.

As for the racism idea, I don't really want to limit it to just black and white. I'm almost tempted to leave both out entirely, just because the stereotype is for it to be between the two.

Also, for part of that, I would really love if we found a way to mix in the fact that races don't even truly exist, because that's something I feel very strongly about. Humans spend so much time trying to make races sound like a completely different organism, when there's really no difference. Some people are just tanner than others.
