  • updated finally:) You got 2 chapters for the price of one:) Thanks also for all your info, some of it made it into the story. I wrote most of this chapter today so I didn't even have to change anything I already wrote.

  • Thanks again for commenting! And don't worry I wont! I'm trying to get this finished by the end of August. :)

  • Yes definitely-it was a little dull I thought. The next one is much more exciting (hopefully) and I sound like a broken record but...thanks for commenting!

  • Thanks for commenting! I know I'm trying super hard to get an update out but I hate to say it but...I think I have writers block! Sometimes I can just keep the words flowing and now I'm just like staring at my computer screen. Ahhh!

Anyways thanks again for always commenting, I really appreciate it and you definitely motivate me to get things out as quickly as possible.

  • Sorry, I haven't been writing, I've been getting home every day just in time to watch the Olympics, then they end at midnight. Killer on the writing schedule! I haven't been writing at work either, mostly been actually working. It might not be until the weekend when I will finally get some more time to write! I have to try to resist making Claude wear speedos or do crazy flips...maybe Richie can wear the speedo instead?

  • Ahh yes I was surprised when my friend told me she traveled to Minnesota for business and a bunch of the locals she met at the factory hadn't ever left the state. That's kinda crazy to me. But then I asked my sister that lives in Minnesota about this and she said she had a fair number of friends that hadn't left the state at all, not even to go to Wisconsin or South Dakota or Iowa. My dad once dated a woman that grew up on an Indian reservation and she had never left the state until my dad brought her to one of my sister's college graduation, but I figured that was because she grew up poor on the reservation. Apparently not!

Ok I am curious exactly what you are basing Richie, Jeff, and G as being quiet guys on. Meeting them in person? Info from people that know them? I can see them being quiet around fans but don't you think they talk more when alone with their friends? I can't imagine they are all quite shy introverted types like our little snowflake Sasha (Alexander Semin). There is plenty of stuff out there about those guys going out, I imagine they pick up girls too.

A lot of people in DC are weird, this city is overrun with lawyers and that's a bad thing in my opinion.

  • Ok sounds like I need to revise some of my story slightly, or just say who cares and go with it. Although if Carter has people visiting, it's possible they go out more than he does on his own.

Thanks for all the good info. I didn't realize that Atlantic City was so close, I haven't been there. Although I have been to Vegas many times. General impression I got was Vegas was so much better.

I haven't gone to Ocean City, Maryland, but the weird thing is that people from DC seem to look down upon it some. They think the Delaware Beaches are much better and a lot of people just go to those instead. Interesting that the rich people in Philly go there while DC people don't, haha. People from here also go down to Virginia Beach area and the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I think this is why people here don't really head up to NJ beaches at all.

Yes, Varly trains in Lancaster through a connection he made when he was with Hershey Bears. He trains at Power Train gym with this trainer that works with a bunch of professional athletes in various locations. I know it sounds odd to spend a month in Lancaster for Russian from a big city, but working with this guy for a month last summer finally kept him from getting injured at all once he escaped whatever strangeness the Caps staff were doing with him.

  • Forgot to ask, are there any particular things to do in the area or sightseeing stuff that people would always do? I was looking online but since you know someone who has been there...

  • OMG I started reading your comment and was literally LOL and couldn't finish it. Sorry but your friend....hahah ok going back to finish the comment. I hope she has gotten over her sadness but that was kinda hilarious what she did. Wow. At least he was super cool. Yesterday I just read something by a Columbus beat reporter saying Carter didn't have many people on the team that liked him by the time he was traded, so it's nice to know that he's not a total DB.

I had wondered if the garage was on the bottom of the house (I've seen other beach houses in Delaware/Virginia). I saw a pic of his house from the water side so I couldn't tell where the garage was. Thanks for the info on it.

Also I wrote that the beach was two blocks away because I had no clue that it was literally two houses away. Hmm might have to revise that! Also in some chapters that aren't published, I wrote that they walked to the restaurants /bars /club in the downtown area. Is that plausible? Are there even any restaurant/bars/clubs nearby?'

The beach sounds different that the ones that I've been too, so thanks for all the info.

If you looked at any of my other stories, you probably figured out that I'm a Caps fan. I live in the DC area. My favorite player on the team was the goalie Varlamov that was traded to the Avs. Every summer he works out for a month in Lancaster, PA with his trainer, he was just there for the month of July. I was kinda tempted to go up and stalk him but I didn't, so I do kinda understand your friend. Do you live in Philly area?

  • Ahhh now it's more clear why you are liking my story so much:) Don't worry, I have plenty of other scenes written with the guys. I just have to figure out how to fit it all together. I know where I want to go now, but I need to figure out the timeline.

I was hoping to write tonight but I was busy doing something else that took hours. I have started writing the next scene though. I need to do some research on Sea Isle area, I've never been there. I've been to the Delaware beaches but not Jersey. You don't happen to be such a big Flyers fan that you've stalked Carter in Sea Isle, have you?

  • Interesting that you would pick the last chapter as your favorite. I wouldn't have guessed that chapter would be someone's favorite out of all of them, unless you are a Flyers fan?

You're in luck, I woke up with some ideas in my head and wrote a lot today and now I have a chapter ready to post shortly. Warning: lots of smut.

  • Thanks for the compliment, but I don't think my writing is quite perfection:)

I wasn't finished with the next chapter tonight so I was thinking I would just go to bed at a decent time for once and work on it more tomorrow, but then I saw your comment and decided to just finish it up and post. Problem was it took a couple hours to finish it! A lot longer than I thought. Anyway, enjoy the next chapter which got posted now just for you! Hopefully I don't look at it tomorrow and think the part I just wrote at the very end of the chapter sucks as I am pretty tired. Oh well.
    July 27th, 2012 at 09:03am
  • I actually wrote for a while today while I was at work (I am a horrible employee sometimes) but the problem is the scene I wrote is a few weeks into the future, after they return from the beach house. But I'll see what I can do tonight/tomorrow to get the next chapter posted. I need to write some more. Actually I was thinking that I need to organize all the various scenes I wrote for the time at Sea Isle better, that is the real holdup. To make it all fit together better. Blah if I didn't have a real job I could just spend a lot more time writing for you girls!

  • Glad you didn't get bored on your long wait for son action:) I was nice and didn't drag it out any longer. At a certain point, it's not really realistic anymore that nothing happens between. Well I guess they could have fooled around some for a few days but they already had plenty of time to get to know each other, so they went straight for the main event.

Hopefully I can post more tomorrow.

  • Very high compliment for you to say this story is the best you ever read, so thank you!!! I have read some really talented writers on mibba/other places so that is very nice to hear. I think this is my best written story by far, I have been really trying hard to put a lot of emotion and feelings and their thoughts into it so the reader can really understand Ashley and Claude.

I hope to post the next chapter this morning but if not, later this evening!
    July 23rd, 2012 at 04:23pm
  • Thanks so much for always commenting! And I'm team Claude too haha
Stories are always more fun when you can pick teams!

  • Just posted another chapter, so I hope you enjoy it!
    July 20th, 2012 at 05:03pm
  • Like as in when they talk or when they finally have sex? hehehe. Don't worry at least one of those is coming soon. So tired right now so not sure I can post tonight but maybe tomorrow morning.
    July 20th, 2012 at 06:16am
  • Me too!:) I really only have a vague idea of how this story is going to go...
