Exactly! Because sometimes, you just can't help but wonder what exactly it is Tom Cruise does in his day-to-day life. It's not like he's cranking out the blockbusters anymore XD

    Girl, I don't blame you.

It was okay, it was just ridiculously crowded and noisy. Plus, there was an awful wait. None of those things make me feel very Thanksgiving-y XD

Good food is always nice. How was LA?

My New Year's was fairly uneventful as usual. Christmas was crazy-busy. How about you? What have you been getting into lately?

    Thanks!

Basically just have a week in the life of Tom Cruise promoting something and doing the talk show circuit and whatever it is that's firing off in his brain when he does whatever the hell it is that he's doing XD Brilliance.

Oh my dear lord! Girl! I can't imagine what kind of insanity you had to suffer through working retail on friggin' BLACK FRIDAY!

We went to Cracker Barrell. The food was awesome, but it's never a good idea to go out and eat on thanksgiving Facepalm

    How was your Christmas?

That is literally exactly what I'm going through right now Facepalm But, I'm switching up fandoms for a while because I'm crazy inspired, so maybe that'll help tehe

It sounds totally epic lmfao I feel like the whole him-jumping-on-a-sofa-during-Oprah would have to be a major scene.

Definitely. I think it would be weird id you didn't eat as much on Thanksgiving. Did you actually go out Black Friday shopping? Mine was okay. My mom and I went out to eat, which was horrible. NEVER AGAIN!

It really does. I ended up meeting my word count for the month, but I can't honestly say that I'm satisfied with anything that I wrote Facepalm I feel like if I make writing more of an everyday thing, it won't be so hard for me to keep up with. I've definitely fallen out of the groove with it.

    That's great!

Is it bad that now I'd really, really, really love to see a Tom Cruise story? lmfao I feel like it would be like one of those god-awful Lifetime original movies.

So how has your week been? How was Thanksgiving?

Me too! I feel like, with a word count, if you end up falling behind because you have other things going on, you're more likely to just give up because it feels like you're not gonna be able to catch up, if that makes any sense. I know that it's hard for me personally to get a substantial amount of writing done on the weekends because that's when I work my second-shift job, but even with that scheduling, I feel like I could still manage to squeeze in fifteen minutes of writing.

That's awesome! Yeah, you would probably be better off to give yourself a break from working on that beginning and then just come back and edit the beginning once you're done with everything else.

I never really noticed that, but you're right about him being "normal" and down-to-earth tehe Personally, I think it would be very...interesting, to say the least, if there was a story that gave me a glimpse of whatever's going on inside Tom Cruise's mind lmfao

Yeah, I liked it because a.) there wasn't that pressure to meet a specific word count and b.) I feel like it makes writing every day become more of a routine/habit, which I definitely need right now. You should!

The only thing I can say I enjoy about being a grown-up is having a decent amount of my own money to spend XD

That's cool. How much progress have you made on it so far?

Nothing to be embarrassed about, I think we've all fallen under the spell of Chris Evans File

I'm trying to get back into the groove though. I found this writing challenge that requires you to write for at least fifteen minutes every morning for a month, so I'm gonna try that out next month. I've been so busy that I haven't really had the time to read or write consistently, and my writing has definitely suffered because of it.

True dat. Being a grown-up is so hard!

That sounds really intriguing, and a lot to take on, especially with a thirteen-year-old girl.

I try, I try tehe Pssht, you say that like it's a bad thing, I love Chris Evans XD

I surely hope so. I feel like I've lost my thunder Sad Just a little, but it's all good Cute

If it makes you feel any better, I'm dying on the inside myself. It took me a year to find the two part-time jobs I have now, and they're totally wearing me down. Ooo, what's your novel about? You should totally get back into the groove of posting on here again because a.) I'd love to read your stuff since you were always my fave writer on here and b.) all my friends on here have died (except not really) XD

Yeah, it's kinda dumb because you can't do anything with them.

The writing is going meh right now, I have a serious case of the writer's block Facepalm And yes, I did graduate. I've been out of school for about a year and a half now. What about you? What have you been up to?

The medals coincide with how many points you have, and the only way to get points right now is to write articles or add books to the Books section.

All of those mini-sites that Mibba has cranked out are terrible quality, like they were just hastily thrown together. Plus, on the BTR one, 95% of the stories on there are mine, and I'm not getting a ton of feedback if I'm the only one posting on the site Facepalm

They were actually a lot better live than I expected them to be. I didn't really care too much for the artists that opened for them, but I thought BTR sounded a lot better live than they do on their albums. Their CDs are just too auto-tuned. They're coming back to Charlotte this summer, and I got VIP tickets last week for that show too tehe I had a really good time, even if I was the oldest person there XD

Yeah...I'm not a huge fan of Mibba myself anymore, but I don't really have anywhere else that I can post what I write, so I'm kinda stuck here Facepalm

True, true. My mom bought me VIP tickets to a show in Charlotte last summer for my birthday because she thought that once I saw them live, I wouldn't like them anymore, but it totally blew up in her face XD

I've just had a hard time there because since it is this really overly pretentious and expensive school, and while I'm getting a good education, it's just hard to feel like you're fitting in when everyone around you is ridiculously rich and republican and can't relate to anything you're going through. Plus, my college hikes tuition up by like, a thousand bucks every single year I've been there, so that hasn't really warmed me up to them XD

Oh gosh, I don't think I could ever fall asleep at the Toyota dealership here XD It's too damn cold and they always end up pissing me off by trying to get me to buy all this shit for my car that I don't need Facepalm But yeah, I start school on Labor day, and even though I have today and Sunday off, I basically have to spend my entire Saturday traveling with the team to their first away game, blah.

Eh, not really. There's a local college here that runs so that you only take one course a month, and apparently it works for them. I mean, there's like four months in a semester, so that's four classes, which is how many I'm taking now.

I've seen some stupid memes online, so I'm sure yours could definitely get some popularity and top that XD

It's like, come on, if we're redoing Spiderman, at least make him black or SOMETHING XD

My college hasn't been so great to me, so I'm definitely not going to be one of those weirdos that comes back all the time XD I have a love-hate relationship with my school.

True, but it doesn't feel so lame once you're thrown back into a stressful schedule. I've been working nonstop this month , and I haven't felt like I've had a moment to myself to just relax. I don't see that easing up any time before classes start.

Definitely! Even though it cut into my Kandi time, I really did like my summer class. I wish I could take all of my classes just focusing on one class a month. Sooo much easier.

You should have! You could have started a meme or something XD Bat vs Mom.

All the commercials for it just looked sort of cheesy, so I didn't really care to see it. Honestly, I was a little disappointed because there was so much news about how the new comic book Spiderman was going to be biracial, but for the new Spiderman movie, they cast some white British dude Rolling Eyes

Eh, I doubt I'll want to come back after I graduate XD

True. My mom likes to say that it's better than me just hanging around the house being bored, but I don't know. I've been really stressed and frustrated lately :/

Yup, and since it was all just during one month, I didn't really have to study hardcore for the final since I hadn't really had the time to forget anything.

lmfao OMG, I'm sure that's priceless.

I don't know, but the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies were the only superhero movies I could stand to watch. All of the other ones just annoyed me XD I haven't seen the new one, only because I can only see Maguire as Spiderman and I don't really see how the new film fits into the storyline Coffee XD

Yup, yup Cute I just wish I actually had a chance to just watch scrimmage/games in general so that I could actually enjoy them instead of always having to work them :/

Yeah, I film basically everything they do, and I have for like, three years now XD Yeah, I'm really good friends with a few of the players and the people I work with on staff. I usually hit the gym right after morning practice, eat lunch with my work friends, run errands if I have any or just go home and take a nap XD It's not really a big deal, I like getting twice the hours, it's just really time consuming.

That's what I did, I retook organic chem during the summer because I failed it when it took it in the fall (the professor was a horrible teacher/douchebag, but the professor for summer school was soooo much better), but I made a B+ for my summer class.

    I don't blame her XD

I don't really like Batman or Superman, I'm a Spiderman girl tehe XD

Scrimmage is cool. It's probably one of my favorite things to film because it's more laid-back/less complicated than filming actual practice.

Two-a-days are when they have two practices a day. Usually one in the morning around 9 am and one in the evening at 6. I feel like I've wasted my day because I usually just eat lunch, take a nap, and eat dinner between practices.

My June-mester was okay. I did pretty well in my summer class, so I'm thankful for that XD Thanks!

I don't know, things flying around the house (we had a bird in our house once) just really scare me XD Aw, Bruce tehe

Yup. Our summer camp just started last week, our first scrimmage was yesterday, and we start two-a-day practices this week Facepalm

That's cool. I haven't really had time to do anything all summer 'cause I had summer school in June, had my wisdom teeth taken out the middle of July, and now I have work nonstop until classes start back.

Oh no! That's terrifying XD I don't blame your mom for being armed with her tennis racket tehe
