Because while I find Spanish really easy, I have a friend who was pretty smart, and she couldn't understand it for the life of her. I always had to translate what the teacher was saying in class because she would just get overwhelmed with not knowing. Hahaa.

The most flattering thing in the world to me is when people can connect with my characters so much that they act like they're real people, and that's exactly what you've done with Gone.
