i think this album is going to be completely stellar- considering what Alien Days sounds like, and the covers they've been doing lately, they're gonna let their influences really shine through on the upcoming tracks while still maintaining the unique MGMT style. isn't it kinda mindblowing thinking that they looped back to the extraterrestrial theme (We Care/ We Don't Care) after about 8 years, but in the time to revisit the subject they've musically relocated their listeners through so many genres, lyrics, and instruments that everything they do just feels new anyways?

god, I'm so proud of them, it kind of hurts :') (btw, if you wanna continue this conversation, feel free to leave the comments on my profile instead of my story please)

that kind of troubling, the fact that all of our stories sound similar because we're basing Andrew's character on him before his (more?) sober days. personally, i watched him in interviews and during some recorded concerts, sorta went from there, but the truth is even IF i actually met Andrew, i'd still probably write him at least relatively how i portray him now. yes, i'm planning some MAJOR character development down the road, but the more fictitious everything sounds, the less creepy i feel for writing about a living, breathing person, you know (i still enjoy though, haha)?

i super appreciate your perspective and suggestion- maybe maturing this story up sooner than later is a better idea.

speaking of new stuff- R U EXCITED 4 DA NEW ALBUM?????

thanks for the comment! and no, you weren't being disrespectful at all- in fact, what you said is almost exactly what the end of the story is going to be about. no spoilers, but Andrew and Liv end up going through things that allow them both to grow and ultimately come to terms with themselves as people. trying to speed the updating up, but eventually you'll see them years from where the story is, and I guess Liv will seem more "real," yea? right now it's kinda hard to write this realistically- there's lots of work to be done to prevent a OFC fic from becoming a Mary Sue, and i think i'm just NOW getting over that ledge... hopefully.

uh, i'm little confused about something else you said. you said you've been reading my stories for a while? but i only have one on here (i had another but recently deleted it due to self-disappointment in it). have you found me on a different site?
