I'm doing the same exact thing. haha
My math teacher set up a study session the day before the final and I was just like: "As if I would ever show up to an extra math class just to review what we've been reviewing for the past half week."

I don't think there's any possible way to be jealous over finals ahaha.

Mine start this week and here I am... chillin' on Mibs when serious studying should be going down... I'll get on it tomorrow... For sure.

Well I'm still very jealous. :) haha - about the type writer obviously, not the finals.

Awe! Cute! Yeah... My grandparents have their's being stored in my house for some reason... and I'm taking it over because they never use it, and I would actually make it feel loved haha

I have no essay finals either :( Bummer.

I've been looking for a type writer! I found one from like, the seventies, but most of the keys were missing - lame.
My finals are starting next week too... kill me. haha I was hoping for essay finals - I'm best at those, but unfortunatly, my teachers didn't get the memo.

Hmm... I would have to say I like thrifting because you can get awesome deals on clothes. But I love finding little gems to decorate my room with. Like I found a lot of cool shaped glass jars with big cork lids. So I took one of them and filled it with shells I got at a craft store, and then I took another one and filled it with sand :)

    I see, I see...

I really, really want vinyls, but it just never works out for me. I'll just stick to my typewriter lol. Vintage power!

Studying is a real drag, and I'm probably going to regret later considering finals are next week and I'm officially back to work, but I'm not going to even start yet. :P

What's your favorite part about thrifting?

Ohmygoodness! You should totally go to one! Although, I do have to say, if you go thrifting you have to be prepared for the worst. It's good to figure out which stores you'll never be returning to ;D I used to hate thrifting because I could never find any good stores, but there's a few in the town over from me - like a 30 minute drive - and it's worth going once a month or so. I got some sweet vinyls from them the other week. :)

I hate studying... It kills me. If only it weren't so boring and crucial to my education...

I love sketching too :) Although I don't think I'm as good at it as painting - not that I'm seriously amazing at that or anything... - but I get insomnia sometimes, and sketching passes the time better than anything else.

Hahaha, I do the same thing! Like tonight - I really should be studying and not spending money, but I'm going out to dinner and buying holiday decorations that are completely unnecessary.

And nope, I really am not that artistic with a canvas and a paint brush. Give me some sketch books and I'll do okay, but I am definitely not a painter :P

I can honestly say I've never been in a thrift store before. I've always wanted to, but I wouldn't know where one is in my area.

haha, yeah, I've painted over quite a few canvases because I hated the outcome... haha
I hate college recs... I'm glad that I'm going to be finishing mine this year so I can hurry up and focus on all the classes going towards my major. And I'm sure that whatever you painted wasn't /that/ bad, usually ones that I think are bad, everyone is begging to buy from me. You're your own worst critic and all I suppose ;)

I love photography. I haven't been doing it as much as of late... but that's partially because I have a really crappy camera, and I keep telling myself to save up and buy a good one, but then I walk past H&M, or a cool thrift store, and that plan goes out the window. haha

Oh my gosh! I didn't even think of the time thing, but yeah, that's totally understandable :P

I feel you on the classes. I've been looking over the junk I need to take and I'm honestly dreading some of it. My best friend does a lot of painting too for the same reason. I've never gotten into it mostly because when I step back I'm like, "Autumn.... GUURLL, what did you just do?" haha. I'm too much of a something... I can't think of the right word... to be able to just go with it.

PHOTOGRAPHY! If I had any experience at all with a decent camera and actually editing photos, I would definitely be majoring in that. Is it a hobby of yours?

I actually think sometimes group projects are worse at college because usually you have to meet up on your own time - something that's really hard to schedule what, with everyone having lives and such. haha And yes, it would be very awkward... I would probably faint from embarrassment... hahaha
I'm having a bit of trouble finding my passion in what I'm doing too, because I love film, and photography, and I loved analyzing films, but i don't like watching junk movies - where it's all about sex and how much language you can put in the movie - yes, if those things are in the movie and they have a point, and add to the concept of the film, I can handle that. And i think it would be so much fun to teach a film analysis class, but I don't want to take pretty much all the classes required to get the degree. :P
And even though I love painting, I don't think I'm good enough at it to make it my career or anything. I do it mostly for therapeutic reasons, haha painting relieves so much stress it's insane.

All the girls on my floor are taking geology for their science Gen. Ed after seeing the kind of junk I'm doing. I like it, honestly, but I just don't have a real passion for it.
Eck. I always hated group projects in high school! I'd think it be worse in college - not really knowing anyone and junk... To be honest, I didn't even think of the nudity that could potentially come from taking college level art. Ha. That would be incredibly awkward!!

Haha, that's what I thought too :) I took a film class last quarter, and I fell in love with it, but then when I tried taking a different one this quarter, it was awful. I didn't even last a week before I dropped the class. The professer was lame and the class was all group projects and bleh.
So, I'm hoping once I start taking art classes it'll be fun, and I'll get good professers, and hopefully I won't have to draw any nudes... haha awkward. :P
Wow, Bio and chem? I wouldn't make it one term... Science and math are NOT my strong points. For science I took geology, and that was fun - it's probably the only science I've ever liked. haha

I completely understand you! I was in the nursing program that's offered on campus, but I realized that I didn't have any real passion for it. I mean, the biology and chem classes I'm in now are completely turning me away from any future science classes so I'm undecided on my major as of this moment. Plus, I can't imagine myself working in a hospital for the rest of my life.

Art classes sound like so much fun!!

Well, I guess 'hate' is a really strong word. I'm in college too, and I just don't really like well, working. haha And I live off campus so I don't really have any friends except for the people I talk to in class and the people from my church who go to the same school.
Right now I'm just getting all my state required classes in though - which might be why I dislike the work so much - and after that, it's art classes for me! :)

What type of science are you going for?

    No problem!
What don't you like about school? For me, (I'm in college) so I really, really like the people I live with and around, but the classes are just... ugh... they're unbearable. I'm in basically in all science, and I've realized that it's not as interesting or fun as I thought it would be...

    Hi Brittany,

I'm pretty good today (aside from the fact classes resume tomorrow!), and thanks!! I'm glad you like them :D
