    I've been okay.

I have to use my own money too, aha. That does suck though.
I keep on hoping I'll bump into you at a gig but nope. Sad This is why I don't like wishful thinking.

    Any plans for the weekend?

    @ sheepcat;
    Hello!

I've been great, how about you?
Unfortunately no, I wasn't allowed to go. Basically, unless a show is like $10 and I can pay for it, I have to wait until I get a job (which I will in August hopefully) so that I can use my own hard-earned money to pay to go. Which sucks... But I guess that's fair seeing as I went to about 6 gigs last year.

I'm guessing you are though? Have fun! c:

Oh lord is there? Well. Go the guy who voices Zim!

Ahaha no you're fine! Yeah, I've made the same mistakes with other fandoms :P It's frightening. *shivers*

And that's good, always nice to read completely normal fics.

Well, I'm keen to read it if and when you do decide to post it.

Oh, yeah, and there's a vid on the interwebs somewhere from InvadeCON that someone posted of a ZADR fangirl asking the guy that does Dib's voice to say "I love you, Zim." And, he actually did it, too. And then, there was a loud "AAAAAHHHH!" from most of the girls in the crowd. I just thought it was funny :P Someone asked the dude that voices Zim to do the same, but he wouldn't, ha.

Yeah, didn't mean to creep you out if I did. But, it's best that someone "in the know" about how weird it can get gives you a warning. I had no warning. I had no idea what the pairings were, or what the acronyms stood for, so I would start reading a fic thinking "Hey, this is a pretty good read, I'm glad I did this," but then the graphic sex and weird pairings stated happening a few chapters into the story and I'm like "Well, that escalated quickly, what is wrong with this perverted author?!" So yeah, if you ever see any acronyms for pairings that you don't like, maybe it's just best to avoid it altogether to be safe. There are some things your mind's eye can't unsee.

But, not everyone in the fandom is weird like that. There are some fics that are perfectly normal and true to the series. They're just really hard to find. If I post one, don't worry, they're is no love or sex in it. I mean, it was a kid's show after all.

Oh, well that's interesting... hahah yeah, I get that.

Really? Ahaha, I've read many articles about it. I feel like it's more opinionated though... I mean, there are many cases in which opposites do attract, but there are many in which they don't. As I said, whatever you believe I guess. It's all theories in psychology anyway, it's something that someone's said. Doesn't make it true, you know?

I did ahaha, It was very much an aww moment, but it was funny.

Hahah I got that, I don't know why I replied to that before this seeing as the latter was sent first... oh well. That was very long though. Odd topic too.

Hehe, well there's some girls that like Zim not in the 'aw that puppy is soo cute' way, but in the "he's so hawt" way. It's kind of creepy. But, Dib has his share of fangirls, too. But, all his fangirls are teenagers, so I think that's...well, kinda eew cuz he's just a kid. I also saw a post where a 20 year old guy called Gaz hot. O.o Unfortunately, the Zim fandom has a HUGE peanut gallery, if you know what I mean.

I studies psychology, too, but I didn't know the whole "opposites don't really attract" thing.

So, did you see the Mopiness of Doom clip? More importantly, DID YEW SEE DAT PUPPET KISS?! I'm not a Zadr fan, but I thought it was funny as hell. :)

Yes, people do do (haha, I said do do) cartoon pairings. I find it odd if it's a pairing that the series itself doesn't intend to happen. But, meh, to each their own. As long as it aint weird. I have nothing against slash or femmeslash, but some of the ones you find are just...eew. A lot of toon pairings (especially in the Zim fandom) have fanfics that are tasteless.

I'mma send you a message about this, okay?

I does somewhat, I find it quite easy o just watch it whenever. And considering I don't watch tv daily, that's usually what I do. AT and RS do reference back to the previous episodes a lot though - but it find it fairly easy to understand.

Not really, no, ahah. I watched them back to back and I was interrupting them a lot to go do something, so It's all muddled up. And, unless I really, really get into something (for example: Home Alone, The Nightmare Before Christmas, ACO, The Outsiders, ect..), I couldn't , for the life of me, explain what happened in a show. It gets all jumbled and yeah.. So I don't really remember.

I mean cute as in the, 'aw that puppy is soo cute' way. Ahaha but damn. HE's 16 so that's only 2 years on;y than me. I think we're good here. ;)

    No words, I agree 100%

Yeah, i think in that way he works with Dib because he's almost like an opposite. Opposites attract! Even though they really don't... Psychology facts... #themoreyouknow #nerd It's more like - Opposites work well together in some cases, like this one. Like, if you think about art - complimentary colours - as the name implies. They're too opposites, but they compliment each other when together.

    Oooh okay thanks!
Oh god...They have shipping for carton's too? That's horrifying oh my goodness why? People are odd.. WOOoowWEe

But, Zim is awesome, too. He's the 3rd villain that I have ever not hated (Alex Delarge and Plankton being the other two). He's a good character to me because even though his entire home planet HATES him and he's such a screw up, he still has a positive attitude about himself (even though it's due to his ego). He is oblivious to all of that and just assumes that he is automatically superior and the best at everything. Nothing brings him down, ever. I wish I had a tiny speck of Zim in me. But, I just want confidence, not arrogance.

Also, if I ever were to have kids, I would want them to be like Dib and Gaz, probably. Just, I would want my daughter to be a little less mean to her sibling. But, she's awesome, too. And, I wish I could be friends with GIR in real life.

Oh, and my final point, guess what? Zim and Dib are actually enemies, but they actually need each other in their lives. I guess they are what's called "Frenemies". I never knew this, though, until I watched "Mopiness of Doom", an episode that never aired b/c it was cancelled, but the script was already written and the voice actors already did the voices. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0ExXAnuBBY ---> This is the voice actors voices, but the animation is fan art.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcvkbvrKCKA -----> This is a version of the voice actors for Zim, Dib, Gaz, and Gir reading the script live at InvaderCON (Yes, Invader Zim has a convention). However, ignore what the youtube user put in the title about ZADR. They only put that in because at 17:17 there is a puppet kiss (Watch it, and you'll know what I mean.) ZADR isn't real and not true to the actual series, it's just a made up fan pairing.

Sorry for bombarding you, but I love this show and have a MIGHTY NEED (another reference from the show) to give new fans all the info.

I like Adventure Time, but haven't seen it in years. Since, like Regular Show, it has an actual plotline, I can't really watch it when it does come on, because I don't understand it anymore, because I've missed so much. :( Back when I was watching AT and RS, they were just funny random shows, and they never referenced old episodes at all. Now, years later, I'm back to watching them again, and I'm like, "What are they talking about?" "Who the heck is that?" "When did this happen?" As soon as I stopped watching them, that's when the writers decided to go with an actual plotline. How dare they do that to me? Lol.

Do you remember what happened in the IZ episodes you saw?

Lol, you think Zim is cute. Get in line, sister, so do a lot of chicks that like this show, lol. I see it on forums and Youtube all the time. Heheh, he's actually 160 years old. Haha, but that's in Irken years. In Earth years, he's actually 16. The show never reveals this info, but the creator said it once. Which makes you wonder, why is there a 16 year old in Elementary school? Probably because since he's so short, it's easier for him to assume the identity of a human Earth elementary child as his disguise. That, and the fact that the show was meant to be aimed at elementary kids.

I have a black trenchcoat! It was before I ever watched this show though. I can relate to Dib. He talks to himself and gets called crazy (that is so my life). Plus, he's the second smartest on the entire show (second to only his sibling, though the show never revealed this). I feel he's kinda like the embodiment of every weird misfit kid in public schools that gets bullied. I feel he can be relatable. The fact that he doesn't hate humans and wants to save them and doesn't let the fact that most of them treat him like crap turn him sour and angry and hateful is kind of like that beacon of hope for victims of bullying. He's kind of an example of "Always be yourself and don't let haters bring you down", ya know? I feel a lot like him, in a sense.

Yeah, that kind of sucks - in a way. But I mean, it is fair - so who's complaining? Not me.

It's so good! The only cartoon I really like at the moment is Adventure Time because Adventure Time. (And of course South Park, The Simpsons, Family Guy...) "Perfectly normal human worm babies." Yep. Perfectly normal, I believe you. ;)
'Zim Eats Waffles' is the best! Hahaha, I think I've watched like 5 more episodes so far. Don't remember specifically which ones, but they've all been good Very Happy

Zim's a cutie haha. Bit of a doofus but yeah.
Definitely agree with you on Dib though, and the black trench coat thing wowee you've always got to have that character though. The underdog, per say.

Sure thing! As of right now, it's 'Zim Eats Waffles'. But I'll tel;l you if that changes ahaha Mr. Green
