If you let the world see what hinders you, some will help you overcome them, and most will use them to their advantage. If you let yourself see what hinders you, you can overcome them, and no one can use them to your advantage. People these days are too blinded by the light to try and see what's in the dark, they're rather be the happiest fucks around, wandering blindly from website to website, than wake up and find out what the hell's going on. Why the darkness seems so... scary. When, in fact, it's not at all. Since the beginning of time (or just a very, very long time ago) we have been afraid of the dark, simply because we can't see what's there. And when you can't see, your brain takes over and sees for you. Creating these scary images and ideas, the brain keeps you from wandering into places where you can't see your own hand. Black, the colour, is usually represents fear and death. But the devil is red?? That's because black, or darkness, isn't related to blood, or suffering as such, or fire, which is what hell's meant to be full of. No, the darkness isn't evil, it's a hiding place. The best there is. No one can see you, and you can see them. What could be better? Look's don't matter in the darkness, only someone's personality helps or hinders them. And we all have the dark parts of ourselves to hide in, to take refuge in, until we're ready to take the light full on and with a rather intimidating battle cry. "Good and evil are so close as to be chained together in the soul" ~ Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
