Okay, yeah some of the fanfics are inventive but some of the ones I have read rely heavily on the original to the point where I wonder where the fan ends and the fiction starts. There are a few I've read on fanfiction.net that are amazing because they take the key parts of the story and that is it. Those I usually like.
Hi! First off, thanks for the friend request. Your message was very interesting to read. I have to say that I don't think fanfic is easy to write just because it has established elements. I've read some incredibly inventive AU fanfics before and I know of plenty fanfics that are absolutely amazing. I'd say I find more well-written fanfics than original fics on Mibba actually. It's just my opinion that you don't need to create your own world or add made up elements for a story to be original or creative. Perhaps I think that because I prefer realistic fiction and I love things set around real world places and events. I just find it more enjoyable when I'm reading something set in a place I've been to for example to recognise that world and the little things that make it real. The Middle Earth type settings are great and whoever can create that is awesome, I just think it all comes down to plot. You can create an expansive fictional universe and it all means crap if you can't execute a good story line in all that.
I am fine. I am visiting my mom and gma(they live together and I live with my dad and step-mom). We are about to take a bed to my half-brother who is a druggy and spent part of his rent $ on his drugs. Hola, hablo espanol y ingles( Hello, I speak spanish and english). GTG talk more later
Hello~. I'm Brittany. Yeah Sean has done so much more than me, and I'm only two years older. You seem like a really interesting person so I wanted to pop by and say hi. How are you, and what's up. I'm glad you commented, but I'm always looking for people the lurk meet. I have to agree with you, gospel is a rather boring genre, if I do say so myself. I'm more into: rock, alternative, 50s-60s (yeah I grew up with my grandparents), Asian pop rock and metal, a few American metal/German bands, etc. You speak Spanish? That's so cool. I didn't go to high school, I decided to go get my GED when I was in the 10th grade, because the drama isn't worth it.
Sure, I'll definitely look at your fiction. (I'm commenting here so my story doesn't get blown up with comments. xD) What would you like me to look for or address?
