That's alright :) I understand that things come up.

It sounds like you're having a great Summer which I'm really happy to hear about! I'm glad to hear you got a job. What kind of job is it?

My Summer has been pretty good, I guess lol. I don't know if you saw my recent journal post, but I got a violin so I have been taking lessons for that which I really enjoy and I might be traveling to see my family later this August. I'm not sure yet though. It hasn't really been that stupendous of a Summer though. Oh well, I find little ways to entertain myself!

Yeah that's probably my fault, I took a few weeks off Mibba to clean out my room and just be lazy on my iPod xD Along with a bunch of sleepovers and graduation parties with my friends.

I'm trying to get back in the habit of coming on regularly ^-^

Mine's good thanks. Actually, better than good. I got a job! And a new laptop =D

    How're you? :)

Hah, well, that makes it pretty obvious. xD

Really? Awesome! I didn't know you could even have it for your ipod. How have you been? I haven't talked to you in what feels like ages even though it's only been about 17 days ago according to mibba lol. What have you been up to? I hope that your Summer is going well. :D

I just think they didn't even have tickets at all. Or probably lawn seats. They were moving pretty quickly like they had just snuck in.

Here's me hoping lol! I got the bandsintown app for my iPod, it's really cool.

They're just asking to get caught really doing that lmao! Yeah, I understand that you want to get closer or whatever to be able to see the band, but come on. Don't be rude like that about it.

Oh. I've heard it that one too. :)

Me too although it's playing at the same venue where that incident happened that I told you about(the one at the Panic! At The Disco concert). Let's just hope that a bunch of weirdos and creepers don't decide to come out that night.

Yeah, especially seats right behind the mosh pit XD Like, really? That's what I love is that the security in that venue are really good with stuff like that.

    No problem XD

I've never heard of that app, I might have to look it up. I have one called Eventful, I think that was the name, that gets sent to my email and tells me when bands are playing around me.

That's great though, I hope you get to see them! Cute

Oh geez. xD It never fails to amuse me how some people think they're actually going to manage to pull off getting over the gate without getting caught. That's pretty nervy too of that man and his son to actually sit in someone's seats without having tickets!

Oh! Okay, I get what you're saying now. That took me a moment to understand. I apologize haha.

I'm pretty stoked because I was checking my e-mail one day and I got an alert from the bandsintown app on Facebook. Well, guess what? BVB are coming back October 1st so I might get to see them in concert after all since it's a regular venue! I don't know yet. I'll have to see, but all signs are pointing to yes at the moment. I wasn't expecting them to come back so soon after Warped Tour, but apparently, they're doing a tour with Bullet For My Valentine and two other bands. I told my dad about it. He seemed pretty up to the idea. Crazy

It's okay, when I went to the MMRBQ I watched three people get thrown out.

First this drunk girl who climbed over the gate to get into the mosh pit, but the heel of her shoes got caught in the fencing and she fell over backwards XD Security dragged her out.

Then, okay, so this concert was long, so the first half was general admission - you could sit anywhere. Then there was intermission, and after that everyone had to go to the seats they bought online.

So my brother and I move to our seats right behind the mosh pit, and this girl and guy are sitting next to us. Well they got up and went somewhere, so this guy and his son came running in and sat in their seats, and the guy stared at me. I looked at my brother and we just started laughing. A secerity guard noticed them and came over asking for their tickets, so he and his son pretended to dig around in their pockets for tickets. Conveniently, the man pulled out a wad of cash on top of his cellphone as he was looking in his pockets. They both got thrown out anyway.

I've been to two venues - one for the concerts I go to, and that's in my state.

In the next state over, there's a venue there I went to for a wrestling show, and then somewhere around there is the bad venue my mom won't let me go to.

I haven't? Hmm, I thought I did for some reason. :3 Well, it wasn't a pleasant experience let's just say! There was also something that happened last summer when I went to see All American Rejects with my friend, her sister and my parents at the fair. There were these two women who were drinking and dancing really obnoxiously. They told us to pose for a picture even though they've never met us in their lives. Soon after that, they were trying to climb over the gate and the guards were trying to stop them. It was the most amusing sight I have ever seen in a long time at a rock show. You probably think I am making that up,but I promise you, I'm not!

Oh, I see. So, you're saying that you have been in all the venues except for the one where your mom claims all the dangerous stuff happens? Sorry, I'm a bit confused lol. Yes, I know what you mean. Rock shows are like a sanctuary to me, almost like a home if that makes any sense. I just forget about everything at concerts and enjoy the good show along with the atmosphere of the crowd. I don't mind cities. It just makes me really nervous when I'm trying to find my way around TO the venue. That's a stressful time.

Oh, okay. :) Thank you. I'll try that.

I don't think you ever told me that story lmao.

Well there's two major cities around me that have large venues. One is in my state, and one is in the next state over; that's the one with the smaller venue too where my mom claims all the bad stuff happens.

The venue in the next city I've been to once before, for a wrestling show. My sister was recently there and there was an incident with herself and her friend and some random chick.

The venue in the closer city is the one that I've been to for all my concerts. Both cities can be considered "bad" - the one in my state probably worse than the other. I get nervous actually being in cities themselves but once I'm in the venues I have no problem. I'm one with the crowd, I guess you can say Mr. Green

Not that I know of. I've tried songfics before. Just let it inspire you, you know? Maybe listen to it on repeat a few times, look up the lyrics and find some verses that really inspire you. If it's a darker song, you probably want a darker story. If it's lighter and happy, maybe a romance or something about friendship.

    Oh, that's good. :)

Yikes! That is super scary if it's true. The city that I travel to to see the venues definitely has some rough parts I wouldn't like to be in. Thankfully though, the venues that I've been to were held in some fairly pleasant locations and had a good reputation. Nothing too wild happened either thank God. The only creepy incident that happened though was when I was at the Panic! At The Disco show. I think I had told you this previously, but when I was at the show, some guy who I am pretty sure was drunk came up really closely behind me and tried to grab my ass. Ugh. I walked off fast and went to another part in the crowd immediately. It would be nice though if the rock shows I've been to were held in a nice big stadium that had seats.

Do you know if there are any links on mibba or websites I can go to that helps you with songfics? I have started writing my songfic, but I'm still a bit lost as how to go about it since this is my first time. >.<

It was a bit hot at mine but the wind was blowing so it actually felt cool. Ours was later at night too, so it cooled off.

My friend came here from that same city two years ago and has been there a lot and has never had a problem with the venue, but my mom has heard stories of it, of kids getting hurt and robberies and tons of drugs, more than your normal venue. I've never heard of this happening and tried looking the stories up, but she really doesn't want me there so I try not to argue with her about it. It just sucks because everyone keeps going there instead of the bigger stadium the city has. :|

You're welcome :) Woot woot! My graduation was a bit bittersweet yet I was personally glad to get out of there once I got my diploma. It was hot as hell and I was dieing. >.<

    No problem. :)

Why not? Is it a bit of rough venue or something?

    Same here!

Thank you! And no, we always do ours on the last day of school. I am officially a high school graduate now Smartass

Thank you for commenting on my blog! :)

Yeah. A lot of bands around here keep playing at this venue in the city, but my mom doesn't want me going there and it sucks so bad :\

That's disgusting. I'm glad they called her out on it.

Congrats! :) Are you having your graduation right away or a few days after? We had our graduation ceremony a few days after our last day of school.

Okay, good. Thank for you understanding and I will comment anything I can think of on the blog. ^^

Yeah. I have to agree with you there. I'm really bummed I didn't get to go still, but at the same time, I would have only been paying to see them and maybe two other bands. I'm a fan of only a few bands that were playing this year. I could pay for an individual concert instead and get my money's worth more. I'm just trying to keep optimistic that they'll come here next year at an actual venue. :D

I don't know if you saw on Twitter or anything, but I guess that some chick on there was bragging about how she stole Andy's pass(for Warped Tour) while he was crowd surfing. It costs a lot of money to replace and she was posting pictures of it. She took it down right away when CC and Jake found out and were calling her out on it. Some people.. -.-

    Yeah, tomorrow! :]

Hey, it's no problem! And don't worry, I plan to (hopefully) do more contests in the future. If you want, you can go check out this blog and leave a comment for me, it'd be super helpful ;)

I've always wanted to go to Warped Tour but I don't like paying for those types of concerts if I'm really only going to see one or two bands, you know? I'd rather pay for individual concerts, though I have been to one large concert where it was a bunch of bands. Thankfully I liked most of them though lol. That sucks you didn't get to go though :(
