I don't write fanfiction very often — in fact, I hardly write fanfiction now. I much prefer to build my own world with my own characters, crafting everything myself and really making it original and fresh. I don't post my original fiction on here very often though (the little that I do post are scraps and bits & pieces of stories I'm still in the progress of developing) because no-one seems to be interested in an original world. They'd all much rather see their two favourite bandmates — who, really, and I hate to shatter your images, are no more than friends in real life — in a meaningless, plotless tale involving poorly written "romance" and cringe-worthy sex scenes. I tend to avoid that sort of thing entirely. I'd rather write something with more meaning, with depth and an underlying concept that isn't a complete cliché. That said, I may delve into fanfiction, just not the stereotypical type (a.k.a. slash fiction). I may write pieces based on the characters of j/kdramas, or using members of bands as characters/the basis of characters, but I'll never cross into that borderline-creepy world.
With all that aside, I have a lot of interests other than writing — I love music for starters. I play guitar, bass and piano, and would love to learn another stringed instrument, such as violin or cello. My favourite artists musically are: GACKT, SHINee, Shiina Ringo, SID, AYABIE, Manic Street Preachers, Morrissey, The Cure, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, C.N.BLUE, F.T Island, and My Chemical Romance. But that list tends to change/switch around a lot. Apart from music, I'm really interested in fashion/couture, photography, art, cinema, and foreign languages/cultures.
