I stand still in a rampaging crowd, and watch as the flames of self dignity and pride become extinguished in the reality of the world. I see as the ones I love a grasped by the hand of death, and witnessed as he lures them slowly but surly. And I cannot help but seem to think, one day that will be me. One day i will fall into the path of sins they found footing on. But have I not already? Who's to say, Death doesn't have his hand resting on my shoulder as I write? Who's to say he won't steal me
