Hey, I just wanted to let you know I updated Second Heartbeat so feel free to check it out :)

Aha, I know - an update from me might mean the apocalypse is upon us!

Yes, Cole is prego-caurus rex, and while it is going to give them a reason to stay together beyond the typical, "I love you" like usual, things aren't going to magically become perfect. Things have never been easy for the two of them, so it won't start now.

I'm going to try to get update up on a weekly basis, but no guarantees...

But I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the chapter! Yeah, it was pretty roller-coaster-ride-y for Zacky, too, so I'm actually glad that you got that feeling, too.

I know, that was a hard part for me to write, too. But she was overwhelmed, remembering things that she didn't fully understand, things that came to her in flashes that were out of context and out of order, and things that raised questions about who exactly was currently on top of her. I don't blame her for panicking, honestly, though I wish for Zacky's sake that she didn't have to.

Heh... sorry! Don't shoot me! Yeah, I knew that last chapter would be a tough blow to Team Ava, but I was hoping maybe Zacky defending her would be a bit of a consolation prize? xD

Unfortunately, I can't promise you that it will be rainbows and unicorns for long; you know how quickly things can change. There's always a calm before the storm, after all, and they've still got Drake to deal with, at the very least. We'll see how everything goes. But, again: this story isn't listed as a tragedy... so hopefully there's some solace in that? Or, better yet: the story's rated NC-17 (and WWLU was only rated R)... so... maybe there's more solace in that?
