Hey, little dove! Just updated Coil if you wanted to give it a read and let me know what you think. I'm super excited for this chapter. SO MUCH ACTION AND IT'S ALL THANKS TO YOU AND THE OTHER READERS FOR INSPIRING ME.
I just wanted to stop by and thank you for your very much appreciated comment on my story Coil! I'm so glad you enjoyed it so far and I'm extra stoked about you mentioning the layout design because I worked really hard on it and hoped someone would like it as much as I did.
But seriously, thanks so much again and stay tuned for the next update!
@ MATHEMATICAL PURITY You're welcome! Ah well, everything happens for a reason. Maybe you're destined to just casually bump into them somewhere. That's how I wish to really hold a conversation with them. Ah well, it just takes the right timing. Once you get talking to them, you will know what you want to say. Matty is especially good with keeping conversation, so I'm sure that will help as well. It sure helped me because the first few words out of my mouth made me feel like a fool. Yes, just keep hoping! (Ah yeah, I've never been one to go to those extremes either. Seems too impersonal somehow.)
Thank you! The bad part is that I've had chances. The first time I say them, the venue only held about 500 people and more than half of those people didn't stay after to meet them. I think my problem is that I'm impatient and on top of that, I think too much and put too much pressure on myself to the point where I'm afraid to do simple things. But I keep hoping, I'll keep hoping. (But I'm lazy and refuse to go to extremes to meet them, such as waiting for them at the airport.)
@ MATHEMATICAL PURITY Aha, it really was a privilege! It was quite short unfortunately though. I knew I wouldn't be able to fit in everything I wanted to say, so I wrote Matty a letter containing my email in hopes that he could answer my questions eventually. Fingers crossed! Ah you are so blessed, I haven't seen them live at all unfortunately. They had a concert that night that I went to their signing, but I couldn't afford tickets. Adam does seem like he has a lot on his mind. He slipped a joke into the conversation I was having with Ross, so I think he does observe and think more than he lets on. With your passion for them and their music, I think you will honestly!
You're quite lucky and I'm quite jealous, aha! I've seen them live twice, but I still haven't had the privilege of meeting the boys. Sunday will mark my third time (can you tell that I'm utterly in love with this band?). I would love to have a conversation with Matty one day. Adam, even. Adam seems like he's got a lot on his mind and I'd love to hear some of it. One day, I tell myself, one day!
@ MATHEMATICAL PURITY You're welcome! It's such a lovely story. Ah yes, thank you! I really appreciate it. I recently had the privilege of meeting Matty at a signing and talking with him, so I've been feeling especially emotional about things that he speaks about. He's so incredibly intelligent about emotions and music and expression.
