Hi, I'm Shay, nice to meet you! I'm a pretty cool person, at least I think so. I've been on this site since '07 and had a year and a half hiatus, but I'm slowly working my way back ;D. I'm easy to get along with, and I'm pretty friendly. But it's all about the first impression. If you burn me, don't be surprised when you get burned back.

Around November-ish 2009, I began dating the love of my life. Through him, I've started to listen to different music styles than what I usually did. He had me listen to this one band. This band really helped me get into the genre. In March of 2010, I had a chance to see this band in concert. Unfortunately, they weren't headlining, so they played only three of their songs. I was surprised at how small and intimate the show was. I was used to huge arena shows. This was a small club of maybe 200. After the set, my boyfriend and I snuck past security, and met the founding member of Asking Alexandria, Ben Bruce. He was such a nice person, from what I could tell by talking to him. He even signed my Converse stating, "I've signed much worse, and I've signed hundreds of shoes."

Now instead of listening to the alternative rock of my teens, I have progressed into the post-hardcore/metal/screamo of my young adult years. Instead of MCR, Panic At The Disco, and Fall Out Boy, I listen to Bring Me The Horizon, We Came As Romans, and Amon Amarth.

I'm also (if you can't tell by the profile...) into playing World of Warcraft. I play it more for the lore than just being an elitist jerk gamer "OMGZ i pwnd joo!! Lrn 2 play nubcakes!!!" I'm starting to get interested in other MMOs such as the soon-to-be-hopefully-released Guild Wars 2!! Its totally a game changer since WoW is beginning to spiral down the path of game death. Its a shame really considering how effin' rich in lore it is...

I look forward to the coming of a new decade in my life. I eagerly embrace any changes the years may bring. What do you know, I actually am looking forward to turning twentytwenty-one...
