Thanks for all your help! I wrote up an introduction blog tonight. Then it was immediately buried under a barrage of blog posts by the same person. I suspect it is a Spam blog, because it's written in some kind of code with symbols and numbers. Doesn't look like any language I've ever seen, and it repeats the same numbers throughout the blog. Really strange. But hopefully I will meet more writers on here!

Posting once a week will be good in order to gain readers, you can also post a blog entry to introduce yourself and advertise your story there. That will be good.

I am mostly writing original fiction and my fanfics are mostly short pieces.

Hi, Maria! Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I used to write Green Day fanfiction for a site called Sullen Riot, but the site is pretty much dead now, so I needed to search for a new place to post my current story. I made an account here, and have been reading many of the stories, both for Green Day and some Original stories.

At this time I have nearly twelve chapters finished for my Green Day fic. I started it in January 2012, then stopped writing in September 2012 when I hit a block. I took a long break to think things over, then decided this December to continue the story because it meant a lot to me. I'm not sure if I should post every chapter I have so far, or post maybe once a week if I get some readers. I'm not sure how to get readers, because the Green Day facnfic community isn't that big here. I'll see how it goes!
