I'm sorry to say that it is highly unlikely that the story will be updated. I am very rarely on mibba anymore, and it is only by chance that I saw your comment. There are only four chapters up, but there are more and I really ought to get back to it. This story is set in the same world as 'And After the War', and has considerably more plot. If you read it and are interested, you may even be the inspiration I need to post more, although I warn you that the rest is in need of serious editing.
