  • Well I'm at the Danish Gymnasium, which is like... the same ages as High School, but much harder, more like college in US. And I'm at the hardest combo of subjects at a pretty academically high school. So I'm really looking forward to not going to school anymore :P
What're you doing then, since you're not at school?

  • yeah, dude, my computer has trouble opening the document so i can't have any other windows running while i'm reading and it has to wait minutes for it to load the whole thing!!! C:
    - anyway yeah it's better now, but i'm at the hardest semester of the education I'm taking, so stressing is pretty much an every day thing. don't feel bad for me though!! :P

  • Glad to hear that, am writing on it right now even though I'm at school lol. And yeah, those 1000+ pages are pretty much... 1000+ pages :P I'm better now, thanks, I was just feverish and dizzy with a blasting headache for some days. I think it was stress getting the better of me.

  • Hey, thanks so much for your comment! Johnny's not really going to be such a big character in the story, because I think there's just like 5 chapters left for me to write.
Anyway, I know I promised you to read SMaD, but I haven't really had the time - I promise I will next week, when things have slowed down :)

  • HI THERE!
I saw what you were reading, and thought I'd drop by and say.
BDB, is ohmehgawd. :) The Brotherhood is one of my favorite series, but John Matthew's book was very disapointing. I've read the Sookie Stackhouse seires as well, she's interesting, but if you haven't already, you might want to check out this AHMAZEIN' Writer, Laurell K. Hamilton. She writes Anita Blake Vampire Hunter.

Anita is a Heroine that will inspire you and inspire you and you will most likely fall in love with the men. :)

  • Hi there - I just finished reading Scream me a dream and I loved it! You really write very well. I enjoyed the extended / deleted scenes as well. I'm. Very interested in finding out what you have planned next.

  • Yeah, you really should, but I'm not going to point fingers and make fun of you ;) I love riding a train, driving in the car, flying on a plane - anything but sailing! lol, I get seasick without being sick, it's so weird. Anyway, it is sometimes a bit boring, but if I'm in the right mood, I see beauty everywhere (I sound like the kid from American Beauty lol) But yeah, it's much more exciting going through Europe - Denmark is a very flat country with a lot of fields and boring stuff like that.
Anyway, I'm going to go pack - still haven't done that haha. Take care!

  • Yeah, I always get really inspired when I'm on a break, so hopefully this time as well! I'm going with school though, and I'm supposed to do this project/photography thing which hopefully doesn't take up all my time!! The legal drinking age in Iceland is like 21 years old, so I probably won't be able to go out much :/ And no, hehe, I'm not taking the train per se - Iceland is out in the open sea, so that's pretty much impossible ;) I should've explained this better, I think - I'm taking the five hour train to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, where I'll spend the night and catch the plane the Keflavik, Iceland the following day.

Yes, it did take forever, but I'm sure it was worth it :D And I'm positive I will!

  • So, so happy to hear that. I thought it was so obvious what's going to happen, so I'm really happy to hear that you're anxiously waiting! I'm going to Iceland for the next week, so I don't know how long it'll be until I update - maybe I won't get anything written the next week; maybe I'll have it finished by Thursday. We'll see ;)

And yeah, I'll remember to take little notes to each chapter so I can spam you for your story when I get back! I've saved the whole story in a word document on my laptop so I could read it on the train - damn, it took a long time - because I probably won't have internet connection for the next week. I hope that's OK.

  • Haha, yeah, they're really annoying right now. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter though!
    ----
I've begun reading Scream Me A Dream, because I've got the time to dive head first into such a long story now, and I don't think I'm going to comment after every single chapter because there's just so many of them :D I'm in awe of how consistent and fluent the prose is throughout the thing - you don't seem to have any "off" days in writing, like when it just doesn't work, and that's wonderful.
I'm going to throw a huge comment when I reach chapter 90 - that's where you're at now, isn't it? - so I hope it's okay for you to wait until then ;)

  • Thanks for the comment on Gold Stars!
Yes, that had occurred to me too, which is why Aiden is not upset about losing Ville if she leaves Brighton Hills. Yes, she is a wee bit worried that they'll grow apart as life takes over, but this is actually a situation where she's worried about never seeing her friends from Brighton Hills again.
Hope that clears it up for you !

  • democrat is obama's party lol, truth be told I'm quite naive when it comes to politics, i don't care much for them, which may be a large problem with why we're so individualized lol, not everyone cares for the politics, when we've got the Jersey Shore stirring up bigger drama (It's my weakness :P)
    February 26th, 2011 at 10:01pm
  • no, it makes perfect sense. american left wing parties like the democrats (that's obama's party, right?) is sometimes critisized in america for being socialistic, when the danish equivalent of the democrats is what we consider to be right wing.

  • Yeah, and it's really deeply rooted in Scandinavian culture, which also explains our belief in the community contrary to the american belief in the individual.

    February 26th, 2011 at 03:00pm
  • When you look at it like that I perfectly get it. But here in Denmark there is this unwritten "law" called the Jante-law that says "don't think you're as good as the rest of us", "don't think you're unexpendable" etc, so the low confidence is sort of etched into us from the day we're born, if that makes any sense.

  • yeah, it's so weird when it happens, and it always makes me feel self-absorbed when I admit to it, but I guess that's just how it is sometimes, haha.
    February 26th, 2011 at 02:47pm
  • Thanks so much for the comment - that particular line made me go gooey too, even though I made it up! :)
    February 26th, 2011 at 02:43pm
  • Yet again, I want to thank you so much for commenting - you few people who write every time is what keeps me going :'D
    February 17th, 2011 at 08:13pm
  • Thanks so much for reading and commenting on my story yet again. I know I seem to write this every single time but that's because I'm grateful every single time.
