I got "Half of me is ocean/Half of me is sky" on each wrist. They're lyrics pulled from my favorite song by Tom Petty, Walls. Seriously. That's my song, and it's the only song that can ever get my stomach to twist up in knots, just by listening to it.
And I didn't get into Alfred State, they have a baking program that's inexpensive, but now I'm just on the waiting list, because the class is filled. And culinary schools are so expensive! And now I'm really, really sad. Maybe I should just move to SF. That would be sweet. I could totally do that.

Um, well...I got my first tattoo and I got rejected from my first school. And it turns out, I'm completely immature when it comes to animal crackers.

Wow. That's a great line to work from, jesus, I have pictures already forming in my head. That's the thing, though. I can't tell you [i]what[/i] to draw, because then it takes away from the originality. That's the main deal about art, being original, profound, thoughtful, quirky, etc. So, it'll be extremely hard to help you with that. All I can tell is to take those words, look at them, dissect them, and just think outside of the box. You are a [i]great[/i] artist, so, you have the talent, and now you have your topic. All you need is the story.

Oh, you know, flowers, an octopus, candle bubbles, the usual. I have so many projects built up for other people, so I can understand the feeling of no "me" time. You're a great artist, so I'm sure you'll something come up with a brilliant portfolio, and if you need prompting or help, I'm usually near my laptop at all times.

It really has been ages! Busy with work and school? Same here hun, I don't even come online everyday anymore like I used too. Sometimes I'm just like, 'fuck it'. Or it's late when I come on and then it's just to check a few things, then I go off to bed.

But we have a week and a half off right now until Feb. 2nd for exams. I only had one, this past Monday, so I get a week and a half off to just chill. It's fabulous!

I hope you don't dissapear on us again for long!

It's not as bad as I make it sound. I mean, I have amazing, one of a kind friends here. It's just, I'm not too much into the small town thing, the smaller the town, the bigger the drama. I tend to stray away from that, I get along with pretty much anyone, but it's not so much the same for my brother and sister. And whatever they get into, they bring to the house. I can't even count the times the cops were at our house for ridiculous reasons.

I live in Orange County, it's like an hour away from the city. I use to live in the Bronx, but my family decided to move here to have a safe setting for us to grow up in...so far, it's been exactly the opposite.

Aw, sweet! I love the MOMA, one of my favorite museums. I think I may be in the city next week, family tradition of Rocky Horror night, plus, I need to go through some thrift shops. That would be so fucking cool if we saw each other around school. I'm just hoping to get in, it's all portfolio work for now.

Ah right, that's fair enough, I can understand that one completely. To be honest, I've only been on her recently because it's distracting me from the fact that my best mate hung herself from a tree the other week. It sucks. I know how you feel about coping with other things, I can assure you.
Other then what I said before though, I'm not too bad I guess. <3

Ahaha, it's okay, and congrats on the portrait! I can't wait to see it! I actually just did one today, as well. It's really rough, done in like...20-30 minutes. I'm in the midst of getting my portfolio ready for some applications, my main goal is SVA, then my dad is investing in a tattoo kit for me, just to get me started, which I thought was really sweet of him. I have kittens, my sister is the spawn of the devil, and i still make cupcakes like no tomorrow. So, I'm awesome! How about yourself?
