Well I'm thrilled to hear I didn't keep you waiting so long that you'd given up on the story! I totally understand rereading both stories first (I had to do the same in order to get back into the right mindset for writing an update!), so hope you enjoy the journey a second time over! There are little plot holes that need plugging, I realized this last time I read it through from start to finish, and I'll probably try to go back and fix those after this whole thing is over with, but I think there's also a good amount of foreshadowing and hinting that stands out on a reread.

I'm so humbled and warm and fuzzy inside hearing that you think this story/plot/lore/world/background/whatever is unique and enjoyable! That means the world and is probably one of the nicest things an author can hope for! No worries at all on the spelling or typos! They don't bother me at all! I mean, hell, half my updates have typos and errors even when I literally proofread them right before posting, but... oh well. If I sit on them too long after finishing them, I lose the momentum and can't move on to the next chapter fast enough, so it is what it is. So yeah, apology not accepted because apology very much not needed. (:

I hope you enjoy the update when you get to the end of the reread! Or... I guess I should say updates, plural? (; Get excited, haha.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! You have no idea how excited I am to know you’re back! I cannot wait time read the update! But first, I’m going to reread both stories, just to refresh everything, and probably torture myself a little until I get to the new chapter... *laughs* I have NEVER read another story like this. I love that it’s unique, and has an intricate and well thought out lore and background! Thank you so much for your lore than kind words. I apologise for my terrible spelling and grammar in my comments! FOR SHAME! It was probably quite late here, and I was likely bug eyed in the early hours of the morning because I just could NOT put it down. I’m totally doing a ridiculous happy dance that you’re back right now...

Ahhhhh, hello there, love! I know I'm incredibly late replying to your comments on Slip, but I want to personally thank you, nonetheless, and let you know how much it meant to me to log back into Mibba after all this time and see your incredibly kind words on the story. And, actually, on What We Left Unsaid, too, now that I think about it. I'm sorry you weren't around when I was originally (& regularly) posting updates on this and the prequel, because I would've absolutely loved to watch you react to all of the twists and turns of the earlier chapters, but then again, I'm glad you haven't had to be waiting quite the whole time.

I promise you that I have no intention of leaving this story unfinished. Even when I'm most struggling with writing bandfic or with finding inspiration for the next update, I'm always sure that I want to come back to this story. I adore these beautiful little broken babies of mine, and I want to see them get to that finish line I've had in mind all this time. And I want all of you incredibly amazing readers to get to see that, too.

I'm so humbled and honored to hear that you binge-read both stories and fell in love with the plot and the characters! It's always great to hear that someone enjoys something you've created and put out into the world, but especially reading your comment after reading the epilogue of What We Left Unsaid... seeing that the story affected you so much, and that you were as torn up by it all as I know I was when I wrote it (and, hell, still am, if we're being honest)... that means more than you could ever imagine. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for taking the time to share your thoughts and feelings with me, to let me know how this affected you.

I know it's been a while since you found this story, and I hope you're still around now that I've finally managed to update once again!

I'll try my best to make sure I'm not keeping you waiting nearly so long for the next update... though I do have to admit I'm currently so torn about what direction to take the next chapter in. I've always known where the finish line for this thing was, but the chapters have always come to me one by one (with a few exceptions that had been written long before their time), but now I'm torn between really wanting to make some important steps toward that finish line, and not wanting to rush things along. I want to make sure I give this story the ending that it deserves, that the plot and the characters earn the ending... but I also don't know how much more everyone can take.

Bleh. I don't know if the last few chapters have truly conveyed how close to their breaking points everyone is. Guess I didn't realize how hard that was to show when you're writing from someone's limited perspective... ugh, decisions, decisions!

Just know that I am working on the next update, and I'll do my best to get it out to you sooner rather than later! Thank you again for your incredibly inspiring and humbling comments! I hope what's left of the story does not disappoint!
