i couldn't help but notice the lengthy comment you have left to the person below me on their profile. And I couldn't agree with what you said. Hes basically bashing me because I don't like Obama being President.

Firstly in regards to the economy. Now surely, living in the country and all, with CNN practically 24/7 with stuff about your country's current position, you'd know what caused the crisis. If you said sub-prime mortgage, you'd only be half right, or even less, because the real mechanism behind America's downfall has been the, and here it comes, capitalist (and therefore republican) policy of deregulation.

And then you said 'president bush can't act coz of congress', dear, he's been in for a little while now, and so far there's not much that can be said in his favour. I mean, the man is a fool. His administration has been a joke. Weapons of mass destruction? public well-being? education? No, on not one major issue has Bush been correct or acted rightly.

The second amusing this you said was in relation to my understanding of socialism. To answer your question; Yes, i am well aware of what socialism is comprised of. I do, however, doubt [i]your[/i] understanding of socialism. Seriously, wikipedia it.

Well... Lets put it this way; what is the natural conclusion of a capitalist state untempered by occasional socialist leanings? A very small number of very rich people and a very large number of very poor people. Example? Brazil, Kenya, The United Arab Emirates.. need i go on? America is practically there as well.
So,your 'i earned my money, t does not deserve to go to a person who refuses to work just because they're lazy.' doesn't make any sense. For the sake of the argument i'll use the example of America. Do you think someone who works 12 hour days 6 days a week deserves less money than someone who works 5 hours a week as a lawyer? or who doesn't work at all and earns their money because their grandfather set up an oil business? Because, lets face it, thats what your advocating.
Do you think its fair that millions of people in america are homeless and [i]unable[/i] not unwilling to get a job? Do you think its fair girls you age have to use prostitution as their means of feeding themselves while a guy who got lucky during the IT boom drives around in his diamond encrusted hummer before returning home to his mansion and drinking 100 year old scotch?
No, of course you don't.

And finally, to your closing line (Socialism is how communism begins. Take a look at history. Socialism never ends well.), i say, rubbish. Communism is an extreme level of socialism, and everybody knows the reason it hasn't worked is because people are shit and the system turns corrupt. As for Hitler, he was a fascist... just to set you straight, coz that could be embarrassing if said in front of people. He hated communists.

So maybe it's time you had a look at the present, and realised that maybe capitalism isn't going so hot either.
