• I'm not sure which one it was exactly, but I'm defiantly going to put them on my playlist. I think a band has to be judged at least partially by their live proformance. Soooo, what''d ya think? :)
Not to go totally off topic(though I always seem to...) But aren't drummers always the hottest most interesting people? Dave Grhol, for example. The Rev for another. Need I go on?
I agree about that. I just wish that there would be some way of recognising the really great bands that bust their ass but never get anywhere because they aren't in the right city. It sickens me to think that Bands like PATD get signed without ever playing a show, and so many wonderful musicians and awesome people are just stuck. I apologize if you like them, but seriously, there are a lot of way better bands that deserve the recognition.
I suppose there's always that :)

• Partial credit is much better than no credit at all XD
I youtube-ed it and found a crappy live version, and I can hear that it's probably pretty kickass when the quality is better. I could barely hear it and you're right it IS stuck in my head already.
I suppose I shouldn't complain to much. I mean, Buffalo may not be acheiving its full potential, but it's better than Rochester and maybe even Toronto in my opinion. Then again, I tend to not like Canadian bands as much, so who knows.
That chick never listened to anything I said, but she did end up liking them. We aren't even friends anymore though.

• I don't understand the css on this site too well, otherwise I totally would.

• Maybe I'll get it up before I leave.
We'll find out.
June 11th, 2008 at 04:10am
• haha. I didn't get your WOOO UPDATE comment.

And you're going to have to wait a bit for chapter 3-- It probably won't get up until I'm back from Europe.
June 10th, 2008 at 05:46am
• hahaha.

So, did you read the second chapter.
I mean, you only begged me for like three and a half months.
June 10th, 2008 at 02:48am
• Yes, shit, in fact, does happen.
It was rather amusing for like five and a half seconds, though.

• My friend came up with the idea so I can't take the credit.
I've been wanting to listen to the Confession for a while now, but unfortunately they've ended up on this mental list of bands that I always tell myself I have to check out and then never do.
I suppose in the end I'm just jealous of places like Huntington and Seattle, cause they're known for their music, whereas a lot of people who aren't into hockey or ETID can't even tell you what state Buffalo is in, nonetheless a band from here. I just feel like there's a lot of potential here, but it's never realized, (with the obvious exception of ETID). Maybe I'm just biased though.
I thought that was pretty cool, but a total waste cause my friend dosen't even really like them that much. She just thought the cover art was cool and I told her to listen to them. *rolls eyes*

• Me and my friend want to get 'please don't forget me or cry while I'm away' on us, cause not only is that one of the best lines written., but it applies to our situation perfectly.
Well I know ETID is pretty big, but I mean, I can't think of another Buffalo band. It just sucks cause it's like Buffalo is totally off the map or something. Everyone just always thinks of NYC or Toronto.
Did I ever tell you about the time my friend bought an ETID cd at a local hot topic and Jordan Buckley was working the counter for his friend? He was like 'Hey, I play guitar for this band!' and she said 'Cool, you wanna sign it?' So he did, and then he complimented her taste in music or something. Anyway, now that I've gotten completly off topic...
I can't wait to see them at Warped!

• Lol, i see you got in trouble for commenting on my profile, nice
June 8th, 2008 at 10:28pm
• I wanna get some of his work for Avenged tattooed on me really bad.
I wish that some of the awesome bands from Buffalo could 'make it'. I just feel like there's a ton of cool people here too(obviously not like SoCal) but none of them seem to ever go anywhere.
I'm not usually big on beaches but for that one I'll make an exception. I can't wait to get out there and see a sunset over the water.
:D

• Well, it looks like you die no matter what. How unfortunate.
June 8th, 2008 at 03:35pm
• Oh my god, I wish I could have seen that SO bad. His art skills kick so much ass. I honestly wanna know how so many talented people grew up together. Seriously.
I wish my school were like that. XD
I wanna see the beach really bad when I go. It looks so beautiful, and I've always wanted to know how to surf.

• Thanks! I remember you YAY!
I'm rooting for the Penguins, but my friend would kill me for saying that, so I'll say Detroit. But not really XD

YOU ARE SO DEAD, LARALIE!
June 7th, 2008 at 07:22am
• Oddly enough, Mego and I have been planning a trip across the country, eventually stopping in California before coming back home. Vegas LA and Huntington are like the top three places we wanna see.
It's gonna be two summers from now if all goes smoothly, but we'll probably still be broke at that point>.>

• Oddly enough I'm in the same spot as you. No money, lots of concerts and traveling to a different state. My best friend of ten years, who's closer than a sister to me is moving to Virginia and I really want to visit her as soon as she settles in. The fact that I have $6 to my name right now isn't helping any of this. I so need a job, but I just don't know where I could work.
June 7th, 2008 at 12:44am
• I really wish I could go, but I have so many plans and so little money that I really doubt I'll be able to. I'm probably going to Edge fest though, which is pretty cool since I haven't seen that in a long time. Mayhem Festival and warped tour too. Maybe even Cruefest depending on where my cash flow is at when it comes around.
Be forewarned though, for all the awesome and amazing people around here, there have to be at least three times as many assholes. You can never really tell what kind of show it'll be until you get there and get in the crowd.
June 6th, 2008 at 11:33pm
• Yes, I know! And apparently there's some kind of Cheerio cannon too!
Oh and be sure to look up some shows while you're in town. There are some pretty cool bands around here that are pretty underground. There are dome really nice theaters too.

• Ha, I can relate to the jobless poorness. I'm just glad I don't have to pay property taxes, because I swear to go we're like the highest state on all that shit. It's silly. If you can fit it in, you should take a tour of the general mills plant. I've never been there but I hear it's pretty amazing, and they give you free cereal. How amazing it that? My friend got a box of lucky charms in Portuguese or something once!
:D

• How could you hate snow? That must be some kind of crime. People around here always say they do, mostly in the winter, but they really wouldn't live here if they did. There are a lot of cool sights in and around Buffalo, so I hope you get to see them while you're here.
