• Even if he is kidding, that doesn't make it ok to call you names :/ If he adores you as much as you say then he can show it by being respectful.

• Yeah... I know what you mean. I recall booking it from a bunch of creeps in a car with my friends. We were all wearing heels yet we managed to go ten blocks in about two minutes. Too bad I couldn't run that fast in gym class during the beep tests T.T

Carry some bear spray with you! =D My cousin once got some in her eye and was weeping for about an hour.

• lol. Don't you love being in college? XD Sounds like you're having lots of fun. :) Are you dorming or commuting? Man. Commuting sucks, especially if you live an hour away haha. Don't party too much. ;) How is school? What classes are you taking?

• Sorry for the late reply. :/

Bacon is indeed not the worst thing you could eat. You could always eat pure lard.

• I'm really enjoying Weaving Destinies =) Can't wait for the next update! I never got to read it the first time around.
February 5th, 2010 at 09:44am
• Well, you're right. The middle of the week is always a trying time, so at least there's something I can always look forward to.
February 4th, 2010 at 01:28am

• Definitely not! It's a graet thing!

I've been in a relationship for a while, but I always keep time to hang out with my friends, and I don't gush about N when I'm not with him. Sure, our relationship is important, but I need to keep the rest of my life going, too.

:)

• hah! that would be really funny.

I think the disclaimer should go like this: Warning, if this book mirrors your real life...stop doing drugs.

• Mhm, it's only worth 5%! I think she's just a bit of an overachiever. The professor calmed her down but she was still all sniffles later on. Hopefully she'll toughen up a bit.

• Hey. I know it's been forever. I'm sorry for the late, late, late, late response. >< I've been so busy lately. But regardless. How have you been?
January 15th, 2010 at 09:18pm
• See, I've heard that too! Like, all the time! The only time I enjoy the smell of a baby is like, when my nephew gets a bath and he's all swaddled and sleepy and he smells like baby shampoo... other than that he either smells like mashed carrots or poop, haha.

This girl next to me in my Classical studies class burst into the most absolute NOISY tears I've ever heard when she got back her precis and she'd gotten a C+. I asked her if she was okay and she was so upset and distressed all she could do was hiccup and let out these tiny little groans.

She sounded insane.

• I agree with you on that aspect, I do think women and girls (sometimes even boys) idolize these characters in an unhealthy way.

I just think that I was looking at the mere comparison with Twlight, because you have to take into consideration that Edward is a 100 and some year old vampire, he never sleeps- so he wants to watch Bella because he doesn't know what it's like. He is always drawn to here because of his heightened senses and in combination with his intense need for her, he is going to follow her because he doesn't want to lose her.

With the whole, "I need you or I'll die, I'll have no purpose." I think it's absolutely retarded.

I like the message you are trying to say, I guess I just don't agree with the some of the comparisons you've made, because you left out that he is a mythical creature, haha.

• Haha! I remember my father cursing under his breath as he attempted to get rid of the ice on his windshieled and rearview mirror. I totally agree, though, Autumn is awesome. I love when the leaves are full of all those gorgeous colors and they make this thick, crunchy carpet on the sidewalks. The world just looks like a totally different place =) Plus different seasons have different... scents, I guess? Like, they each carry their own smell with them and each smell creates such a powerful sense of nostalgia for me. Do you ever get that?

I just need to sit down and be DETERMINED. I'm using you as my example to look up to =3

Mhm, I get what you're saying. I find myself not only working hard like I did in high school, but also putting more of myself into it. That's why it's such a blow when you put so much effort into a paper and really pick your own brain to express yourself properly and a professor doesn't like it. I got so upset when I got a B on this paper I'd spent about a month on =S Not only that but there was NO comments or anything written on it and it seemed so arbitrary, it felt like it was just the T.A. on a power trip or something.

I need to buy it! My father's so stingy with his visa. He says it's not the money thing but it's the fact that he's so darn SUSPICIOUS. Seriously -.- You'd think I was asking to post his social security number online or something.

Your latest journal has sparked quite the response xD Well-done =)

• That would be implying that women won't rule out someone who has tempermental issues or is abusive when dating them, since new relationships are forming at all times.

Not all men are abusive, so does this only apply to women who are with abusive men? Are you also saying that women aren't smart enough to spot someone who is abusive before entering a serious relationship, or that they can't make their own choices?
January 14th, 2010 at 07:33am
• No, I do not think you are dumb. I just think that it was dumb to compare an abusive relationship to Edward Cullen.

I was unaware of that book you informed me of, but I do agree with the decline in arts in literature effecting a society.

But men do not become abusive because they have read/seen Twilight.
January 14th, 2010 at 01:43am
• Yeah, haha, while I agree for any normal person. I think the rules change for fictional Vampires. I mean none of The Cullens were close to anyone aside from their own little clan, and they had a few friends of other clans (like those ones from Alaska or wherever) and such.

So while for any normal, actual person I would agree, in the case of Edward I just don't think it's the same. His circumstances are completely different. I mean, he let Bella get close to him and she worked out what he was and that eventually led to her being in danger because of it because humans weren't supposed to know about the vampires. It no doubt would have happened as well if he'd made friends with other humans. And he couldn't really make friends with other vampires because they're usually solitary creatures, or travel in 2 or 3 at the most.

Bear in mind as well I'm speaking solely about Stephanie Meyer's world and not vampire lore in general because there's many different variations of it.

Because, I also think that Edward's... I suppose infatuation with Bella, while unhealthy, especially for any normal regular human, is different again because Vampires have heightened senses and heightened emotions (if you've read Breaking Dawn and all the info we get about the sex and stuff... it took Rosalie and Emmet well over a year to be able to be around other people because their heightened emotion from being vampires made them, basically sex addicts).

It's not an example for as relationship, I hope most people reading it realise that, because there are things that make it not a normal relationship. Most of them, I think comes from the fact that Edward is a vampire. He's a different creature to humans.

...debate can be healthy sometimes. Lol.
