My SAT's weent decently. I got 1950, but I plan to take it again in November. I haven't taken the subject tests yet, but I'm taking those in October. I really need to study for them, though.
My grades aren't good enough to get scholarships on merit, but I have almost three hundred hours of community service, so hopefully that'll help. I seriously need to apply for scholarships.
I was looking at the Univeresity of Portland, but my parents would never let me go to a college that far away. I like a few Catholic Universities. My top choices at the moment are Villanova University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Stonehill College, and Smith College. I have yet to visit any of them, but the only one that's far away is Villanova. I've narrowed it down to about 16 colleges, which is still a lot.
I skipped my prom, but I plan on going next year. Senior prom is so much better than junior prom from what I've heard. How was your's?
I haven't been up to much this summer. I was a volunteer at a sort of camp program. The first week was really fun, but the second was a sick kind of twisted torture. How about you?
Are you living on campus for your first year? Have you already got your room assignment? My brother got his a few weeks ago. Do you know what your major is going to be?
Sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment. I took a Mibba hiatus. My internet's been slower than slow the past couple of months. It takes about fie minutes for a page to load. I've made a lack of progress.
I'm taking the SAT in March and May. I still have to sign up for the May SAT. And then there's subject tests. If I take two, I can get a scholarship to state colleges. I've met all the other requirements to get one, but the thing about it is that I'm not even sure where I want to go to a state college. The two schools I'm really interested in are Northeastern and Boston University. I'm just below the average GPA for both, though, and they're so expensive, that I'm not sure I'd be able to afford it. But I'm trying to find scholarships, which is the best that I can do for now.
There is a creative writing class in my school, but I'm already taking too many classes this year. I am going to take it next year.
Was Penn State your first choice? Have you decided if you're going there yet?
I'm kind of late for Christmas, but I hope you're having/had a lovely Valentine's day.
No worries about the time. It happens to all of us. I have a Myspace and a Facebook, but ironically, I hardly ever go on those.
I know very little about Penn State except what I hear about their football team. How long do you have to decide? Did you get accepted anywhere else? I'm still in the process of doing all my SAT's and planning out where I want to go.
My story is a complicated situation, but the one I was originally planning on writing is being put on the backburner. It's planned out by each chapter, but I'm not a good enough writer to write it. I hope to write a short story to hone my skills and figure out how to make a story seem natural, but I have so much going on, and I have to manage my time better. Hopefully, I can start one by January at the latest. It probably won't be too great, but I just need to practice the way I write.
And I'm glad you're happier this year. You deserve to be. =)
Evie! Of course I remember you. I haven't talked to you in months. I don't like quizilla anymore, but Mibba's growing on me. I'm planning on writing a story soon, so I'm exciteed about that. I just never seem to have time to come on here.
But enough about me, how's senior year going? School? Teachers? Friends? Other Stuff? Catch me up on all the details.
Yeah, I did :)
I like making them, it's fun.
And I find the default ones can be plain sometimes.
And there aren't any sites with Mibba layouts.
So my friend and I are gonna change that lol.
Fer sure, it took me months to learn how to make a proper layout haha. Now I make tons and change them every day. I might make a site for just Mibba layouts.
