first things first, I LOVE British alternative too! Arctic Monkeys were amazing live. they didn't really talk too much to the audience though, which I would have liked more, but they played a thousand times better than studio versions. I've heard a lot about Tokio Hotel but I don't think I've ever even heard them. wanna rec me a song?
last week was such a craazy week. I was sick for three days and then I heard back from all my early action colleges. I'm mainly applying to schools in new york and boston, and also u of michigan which I got into! But I was deferred from my first choice and I'm still kinda bummed. but at least not rejected, i guess.
My sister came home from college thursday. I'm really really worried about her. From thursday until now, I have not seen her eat a single thing. I'm really scared for her. she actually DOESN'T EAT and I have no idea what to do about it. and my parents are really nervous for her since she used to be bulimic and I guess they kinda blame themselves for sending her to a school she hates and it just makes me so upset and I can't do anything. I mean what the hell would you do in that situation?
sorry for being all depressing and shit on you but my parents try to keep the whole thing on the dl and so I don't really talk to people about it.

Phantom of the Opera was so much fun. I actually looove my French class. We're so cute together. on the ride home from the city we all started singing "Lucky" by Britney and it made me so happy : )
the arctic monkeys concert I went to the next night was SOFREAKINGAMAZING, dunno if you listen to them they're my favorite band ever, and basically I died. I actually completely lost my voice. I got home at one a.m. and I couldn't function in school the next day. hmm what's your favorite band, btw?
and then my friend's birthday was Friday night and we had dinner in the city. AND THEN I came home from the city to find a college acceptance letter! wohooo!
but my rather exciting week has left me completely sick and miserable. I'm coughing like crazy and I can barely speak. meh. hopefully mes parents won't make me go to school tomorrow.

I theenk I'm going to work on changing my profile. There's this uber cute picture of Britney + her babies in Elle that is so freaking adorable, I think I'll use it.

that's pretty cool of you, that you've never wanted to do anything crazy and bad or whatever. like drinking and partying. My friends never used to be into that stuff, and this year suddenly they're all party animals which is a bummer. I really miss how we used to be before everyone started drinking. haha and at the party i was at basically all I was thinking was WHAT THE HELL is wrong with people?! Some asshole spilt beer on the floor and then he was like, "whatever, it's just a piece of shit basement" and I flipped out and yelled, "YES, BUT IT'S SOMEONE'S HOUSE". Seriously, dealing with unintelligent drunks like that makes me want to claw someone.
ah anyway. I'm in a fiesty mood. I finished all my homework and my dad came home to find me shopping online and was like, "blah blah blah waste your time etc." and it really pissed me off. My dad thinks I have zero work ethic and I basically just bum around, and he never takes into consideration the fact that I actually get good grades.
duuuuuude ITS sounds so awesome! do you perform singing or acting? that's really cool. definitely go next year!
and haha I know what you mean, I'm not a huge fan of American music either. I basically listen to only British music, and some French.
ahhh tomorrow I'm going to see Phantom of the Opera! so excited!

you're straight edge? really? that's cool. what made you decide not to drink, if you don't mind me asking? I don't drink too much, I usually end up being my friends' designated driver/friend that keeps them from embarrassing themselves when they're wasted. lol.
Last night was so bad though. My best friend julie threw this party in her family friends' house who were gone for the weekend. so a) we were trespassing, b) the neighborhood is super paranoid about parties, so it was bound to get busted by the cops, and c) word got out and basically my entire grade showed up. it was completely out of control. and generally the host is supposed to stay sober to keep control of the party, but my best friend couldn't handle all the pressure and basically her solution was to get really drunk and just let everyone in. me and my best guy friend had to kick people out. it was basically a really crappy night. then I just got fed up and grabbed two of my friends and left. we went to our local diner that's open 24 hours and just had fries and talked and honestly it was the best part of the night.
so conclusion - drinking and stuff is sometimes really overrated. I personally think it's much more fun to hang out with my friends sober.
anyway. were you the one with the phoenix theme? if you were, that was completely awesome. my friend saw phoenix live and got to go backstage. So jealous. french people make the best dance music.

There's actually this really good one a town away that shows all these really great indie movies that don't get released in normal theaters. That's where I go to watch French movies.
How far away do you want to go to college?
Next week and the week after is when everyone hears back from their early decision colleges. And so basically everyone in my grade is on the verge of a breakdown right now.
ANYWAY aside from the big college panic,I'm so excited for next week. It's going to be epic - wednesday my AP french class is taking a trip to see phantom of the opera on broadway, thursday night I'm seeing my favorite band arctic monkeys in concert, friday night is my best friend's birthday and having dinner in the city/getting drunk. it's going to be a great week.
I just have to get through tomorrow first. I have a math test that's going to be terrible.

Amelie has the same actress as coco before chanel, I think. Audrey Tautou? She's adorable, I love her. It's about this woman living in Paris who's trying to find love while the world around her is really fucked up. It's so cute.
I've been to pennsylvania before... I have this mini license plate in my room that has my name on it from there. I can't really remember much about it except cows & farms. I really love NY but... my parents and I keep having arguments about college and they want me to stay close by and my dream school is in Boston. grr, the whole college process is just so stressful. It’s basically all I talk about with my friends, at school AND at the dinner table. it's completely unbearable.
