I wash two toilets a week and help around if they ask, which they rarely do:) I find it totally worth scrubbing toilets for 15 pounds a week:) My parent's are really way too nice at some times xD Er, one pound is worth approximately 10 kroner (norwegian currency), and 1 dollar is worth approximately 6 kroner. So it's easier to do math with pounds xD

Yeah, I want a couple, some small ones, I reckon, but I agree with you on the large body-things. I don't think it would be totally hot not to be able to see your skin.. have you ever seen Miami Ink or what it's called? Yeah, those people there are like a tad over-tattooed. I bet they don't regret anything xD

Eh, we lived in a dump, where it was either strict Christianity, or drink all night and go to the hospital next morning. So yeah. I'm glad we left. There wasn't much weird things that happened, a couple of suicides, even a murder (thank God I was too young to hear about that stuff) and some odd-balls that went around town randomly saying "Yellow card!" and showing them a yellow card. Like from soccer, you know:) But really, I was too young when I moved from there (10) to know all the weird stuff that happened:) We did have some psycho Christian neighbors, though..

Oh yes, you're right about that. Pens that comes to life again is fun!:D

Haha, you misunderstood (or rather, I'm poor with words xD), I was at a music festival (which was in Denmark) and I was in Italy the week after:) But yes, it was amazing, and would be even more amazing if it was put together xD
Haha, I guess I really am spoiled :D That doesn't sound too terrible, but I now what you mean, I've spent way too many summers at home. Oh my, you really are... ambitious. I would never ever ever even suggest doing school in summer. Okay, last summer I was three weeks in Oxford at school, but that was... in Oxford, man.
What's Key Club, if I may ask?
Oh no, you're not boring at all:) I've just spent my week reading and reading like a nut.

Oh, I know. I feel so horrible sometimes when I realise how much of an indie snob I can be. I think it's silly, really. If you like the music, then just like it. I suppose it's not so much the music I dislike, it's the people associated with it. (Although I will have you know that I am in no means a fan of all the lyrics about sex and money and fame these days.) I've noticed that people that like bands that are intelligent, such as the Decemberists, have a greater chance of being decent and intelligent also. Whereas fans of... I don't know, say, Ke$ha, seem to not care about important things as much.
Haha, sorry for rambling on. That's my thought of the day. :] (Oh my, I really did have my only thought of the day quite early. It's 1:30 am.)

    Nah, that's mostly it.
Sometimes they lie about teachers and the happiness of the students, but if you ask the students themselves questions, most of them are pretty up front.

    Why, hello, there.
I was looking through the Music section of the forums, and I saw your thread about the Decemberists that was posted forever ago. Haha.
But I would just like to let you know that you are most certainly not alone. I love the Decemberists. They're one of my favourite bands, actually. :]
I have all of their albums. :3
Well, good day to you, fellow Decemberists lover.

You don't get allowance? Poor thing. I get like... lots. I can't be bothered to search currency-calculator, but it's about 15 pounds. xD I don't know what I'd do without it, because I just can't save money. I always blow them away, even though I, as well, is a total save-freak. I hate spending money. It's like, "OH NO! I've spent ten bucks, now I can't spend anything more the next two weeks!" but then I spend anyway, and I feel really guilty xD

Yeah, I think about the whole "gross when 60"-thing as well, but I manage to forget that because I'm like "So? It's hot now!" so don't worry, you haven't ruined anything xD I actually saw an oldie with tattoos yesterday, and they were all good:) Heh, I actually lived in a little town before, when I was a kid, so I get why you would think that xD There's lots of weird things going on there...

Haha, you can't throw them away, not when they've been there for so long! Heh, I've got a couple of pens on my desk that I start writing with, and they fail after two words, and instead of tossing them, I just let them lie in case they decide to work again xD That's made me pretty irritaited from time to time xD Oooh, colours!:D

Ah, that's cool. I think my grandparents have some (fake, obviously) Degas's in the bathroom. Fitting place, I think. No no, just kidding xD

Yeah, I guess that's true. Would explain why Norway's so low on the lists:)

Actually, I've done lots this summer. I've been gone for three weeks in a row, and I was at a music festival which was awesome, in Italy and in a family retreat-senter thing. Fun times. And next week, I'm gonna babysit my nephew in another town ten hours away xD And then there's another festival xD Music-person, me yes. :D

    And you?

I'm so terribly sorry. I haven't heard nor seen neither, but I imagine that must be annoying xD

Huh. I've never thought of that xD Then again, English consists of so many foreign words (lots from French, I've noticed) that you can barely get away from them xD

That thing about them meeting 100% of your financial needs is absolute B.S.
Be prepared to take out loans.
    Seriously.

    As for boarding school...
Lol, we really weren't that kind of boarding school.
It was still a public school, meaning it was funded by the state.
So we had people from all financial classes.
    We also didn't have uniforms.
It was pretty much like a mini-college.
And the teachers were all pretty laid-back.

haha don't apologize. I love that type of stuff, especially because I've only ever had one relationship (my current one), and it's gone off flawlessly. Well the actual relationship has, not the prelude. Boys are weird and confusing. And alien.

Yeah, I can speak Filipino fluently. :) I think the majority of the people are rural. The interesting things to do here are to go to the beach, we have lots. Do adventurey stuff like go white water rafting, or go on the zipline. My family has some land up in the mountains and there're bodies of water like streams and rivers that are pretty clean and we just swim around there sometimes. But the everyday kind of thing we do for fun is go to the mall, or go to bars. :)

I just would really like to say that I appreciate your comment so much. Not a lot of people would spend that amount of time to really sit down and give me actual feedback. I really want THM to be the best it possibly can be, so your comment just helped that much more. So thanks again and I hope you keep reading!

Nope, not at all. Right now, I absolutely hate my life, but you know, I'm just going to keep my head held high, and hope for the best. Ahhhhh! Dayum! Working at the Library will help the community! You should do it, sounds fun. Okay okay, I fail at persuading right now. ;o So yeah, nothing is awesome. ;o! It's so gay. It's a bit like FML. D<

Haha. Well, people say it's a Latin American country misplaced in Asia. We were colonized by the Spaniards, you see. I guess that kind of implies that we're laid back people, and that we like fiestas. It's really humid in terms of weather. Right now there's a typhoon, which is kind of a common thing. It's not too bad since that means a break from school. We're mostly a conservative people, and we usually can't say things directly, resulting in us having lotsa euphemisms. I'm not sure what else to say. You can ask again if you wanna know more. Can you speak Chinese? :)

    Lol.
It took me a long time to arrive at the things I chose.
I have a lot of general interests.
History is the only one that encompasses my need to know useless things, so I'm pretty set with that one.

I've done a few plays and stuff, and only a few musicals.
But I haven't had a lot of opportunity to do stuff like that.
The nearest community theater to my town is 15 minutes away and I was never home enough to do any of the musicals.
I went to a boarding school.
They did two plays every year, but on top of schoolwork and everything, I only got to do two plays in the two years I was there.
I had a pretty decent part in one, and I got to assistant direct the other one.
    We never did musicals.
But I watch a lot of old musicals, and I've seen a few stage productions.
    My iPod is mostly showtunes.
    Lol.

    Your choices are all viable.
I would suggest you spend your senior year doing some reading.
Like, read more about the stuff you're interested in, and find out how much work it requires in college.
And then look up career opportunities in those fields after college.
It might help you narrow down your choices.

As far as college goes, I didn't get to pick the one I really wanted.
It all came down to money.
I didn't even get to apply to my dream school.
While I do love the college I chose, I know I won't be as happy there as I would be elsewhere.
But they gave me a very generous scholarship, so I couldn't really say no.
But if I could do it again, I would scrape together the money to apply to my dream school, and if I got in I wouldn't worry about the money.

OoOoOoO I'll have to check out your victorian era story then, huh? i love any type of story that takes place in different time periods. well, that's a pretty general statement, but you get the picture.

and i loooove ballet, but i'd have to say that i'm more into musicals. my school is really big into the performing arts, but i never got a chance to get involved with the plays until this year. but i was always a dedicated fan, and always will be :)

google the swan princess! look up images from the movie, or a short youtube clip! i guarantee you you've probably seen it.

You know what? I totally love you back.
Seriously, you have no idea how much I love and appreciate constructive criticism. Because I'm trying to write in a different time period, which I've never done before, I'm obviously trying to spice it up and sound more sophisticated than a seventeen year old author usually would sound, but I totally didn't realize that I was over-doing it. But now I know, because of beautiful people like you :)
And I live for musicals and ballets and anything having to do with a stage, so I absolutely had to write this. There really wan't an option for me. Plus, they made a movie called The Swan Princess out of it, which, if you haven't seen yet, you need to immediately.
But thank you again, and don't ever be afraid to give me helpful hints! Seriously, it's the only way I'll ever know if my writing is complete shit or not haha

You're right. Pen pals are vintage. Haha that's so funny. That's actually a good idea. Pen pals are so weird because you really don't know each other but you tell each other minute details of your lives.

That is way nerdy, but ambitious. Speaking of nice guys, I was listening to the radio this morning when they started talking about how nice guys never get the girl. Seems like the same situation here.
