• Well, we might know one day. Hopefully. =)

Thanks.
I'm glad I passed. And a 4 is like really good. Not genius level, but like an A in college.

I don't think Banquo's Son is out yet. Or it might be by now. I'm not sure. I heard about it on the radio a while back.

I came up with the parody in Spanish class. I don't have the original, but I'm sure I could recreate it. Once I do, I'll put it on Mibba and tell you.
It was sort of poking fun at the AP exam and hard work.

Spot is indeed a weird word.
My first word I thought was odd was "special." And then I started noticing a bunch of weird words.
If you think about it, languages are really strange. I mean, it's just a bunch of sounds strung together and given a meaning.

• Yeah, it does get crazy.
Family reunions are very hectic. There's like a bunch of people running around and talking loud and everything. >.<

Someone published an article here the other day about Ryan.
From what I've gathered, Pete's not talking to him.
But who knows?

One of the Biology teachers at my school is pretty bad. I mean, she's smart, but she's just so smart that she goes over the heads of most.

It was out of 55 questions I think.
Talking about the AP exams, I got my scores today. I'm down at my father's so I don't have the paper in front of me, but my mom texted me. I made a four on English Language and a 3 on US History. That's what I figured I would make, so I'm pretty happy.

Yep, Macbeth was a pretty crazy play. Everybody was murdered. O.o Duncan, Banquo, uh....the guards, uh....
Well, you get the point.

I hear some author is coming out with a book about Fleance. It's called Banquo's Son.
(Relatedly, I sometimes call my dog Koko Banquo.)

My English teacher made us learn Lady Macbeth's Mad Scene and recite it in front of the class.

"Out damn spot, out I say. One, two, why then 'tis time to do it...."

I made a parody about it.

• Hola.
I woke up this morning, and put my iPod on shuffle like every morning. The first song to start playing was Second Heartbeat - Avenged Sevenfold (:
I think that just about made my dad. I'm sure my iPod must love me or something, to make the first thing I hear Avenged Sevenfold. EIther that, or my iPod has an obsession for the guys as well xD

Either reason, I'm fine with. Because they both are sort of impossible, but I think to think otherwise.

Anyways, It's my 3rd day back at school, and I already don't want to go, which is why I'm leaving you this very boring, rambling message. I'm kind of bored out of my mind atm.

• My father is adopted so I have this whole blank on one half of me. Luckily my mom's family is really expansive and really into geneology.

I could be wrong. It could be like they claim -- a breakup because their musical styles decided to grow differently. It's just...what people report usually is a lot better than what actually happened. Or a lot worse, depending on the news.

My S.S. teacher just leaves you hanging. But my English teacher is so awesome. I mean, the S.S. one isn't mean or weird or anything. In fact, she's really nice. We like her as a person, just not as a teacher.
Since I'm AP, I have them both another year.
I felt really confident about the English one. I'm was so sure of the answers. I didn't get to answer like three though. =(

Do you have limewire or something like that?
If so, I recommend the song "I'm Only Happy When It Rains" by Garbage.
My English teacher got me on them actually. Their song "I Think I'm Paranoid" is supposedly a reference to Macbeth. Shirley Manson says "I nailed my faith to the sticking pole." Lady Macbeth says "sticking place."
July 14th, 2009 at 12:43am
• Same. *sigh*
July 12th, 2009 at 09:40pm
• Not really. Not personally. There's this girl a year behind me in school who's mother is British.
My family's from Germany. Not directly though. They moved to the U.S. in the 1800s I want to say, but my grandmother's half-German ...making me one eighth. On the other side, it's French (ew) and Welsh. See....the French people were in France (wow, amazing, right? like where else would they be?) at the time of old Louis and Marie. They were Protestants, or Hugenots, and had to flee when the whole "We hate your ruling. You're horrible monarchs so we're going to execute you!" thing happened. So they fled to Wales and lived there a while. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they married into some families there before coming to America so I figure I've got some diluted Welsh in me too. Of course, I've probably got a little bit of everything in me.
I wonder if my family still has people back on the Continent?

I always heard people talk about how Ryan had a girlfriend but how he and Brendan had this thing. So I thought about it. Maybe.
Not now obviously. I mean, the band broke up. I didn't expect it to break this way. I would have figured Ryan and Brendan to go off together if one happened. Which leads me to believe the band breakup was causes by a massive fight.
Who knows? It's not like we'll be finding out.

Yeah, she's an amazing teacher. The one I have for social studies isn't though. She doesn't really teach at all.
Now my English teacher....I like her style. She'll put you out there and make you do a lot of work, but she'll explain everything and walk you through it. Like she'll make you write an essay in the beginning and then tell you how you should have written it. Like the steps and everything.
I haven't gotten my AP exam scores back yet, but I'm fairly certain I passed hers. The only thing about the English exam that I didn't feel absolutely sure on was the essays. But I figure I did well enough to not jeopardize my multiple choice score.
July 12th, 2009 at 01:28am
• Very true. Brits don't play. XD

Yeah. It's better they broke up now instead of three rough albums down the line.

I bet. It's like a fantasy of every teenage girl for them to be together that way.

Very, very long title. And yes, it is quite the list. It's for my AP English Literature and Composition class. The teacher's amazing (I had her this last year) but you have to do lots of work.
July 11th, 2009 at 10:24am
• Sometimes I still do. And then when it fails, I'm ready to slap myself.

I know. Aren't they? (Better, that is).
And seriously....it does seem like it would take a lot of money to employ a guy named Jeeves.

I have their album Pretty.Odd.
The first run through wasn't all that impressive, but then after listening to it over and over again while I did my bookcards for my English class last summer, it grew on me.
I heard about their breakup. I thought Ryan and Brendan were like lovers or something. Or like really really close friends. Always together and all that.

One of the versions has her.
She was in that? Oh wait....yeah, she played the mother.

My summer reading: Othello by you-know-who, A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (long title, yes?) by, uh....that Irish dude, and Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
James Joyce! That Irish dude is James Joyce. I had to look him up. I forgot his name, but I remembered him writing the Dubliners. And Finnegan's Wake.

I've only read part of A Portrait and one act of Othello. Yikes.

• And yes, I did hear of panic, sad... *sigh*
July 10th, 2009 at 09:30am
• Haha thank you, you have good taste as well :)
July 10th, 2009 at 09:30am
• Hey there!
It's Miranda, one of the writers from that story with the extremely long title? Well I just wanted to stop by and thank you for commenting, and I'm glad you are enjoying it so far. I hope you'll keep reading until the end!

• I hate when that happens. So I started to copy everything before pressing Submit. Doing that has saved me, like, twenty different heartbreaks.

Jeeves was a British butler, right? His work was outsourced. He was replaced by Jose. But AskJose didn't sound like a good website. Besides, he could only understand a few English phrases so he didn't make a very good resource.
What about Hershey's?

Helena played a good Ophelia in Hamlet. The one with Mel Gibson....? Or was that one Macbeth? I can't remember, but she was in the Hamlet we saw in English class.
She was even better as Bellatrix Lestrange. And the pie lady in Sweeney Todd.

I haven't read it all. I need to read it all. I suppose I will once I get done with my summer reading and I return to my mother's house.
July 8th, 2009 at 03:28pm
• I actually have that book. And I just haven't finished it. The part I remember reading was something like "They must really like pigs in Germany. Mrs. So-and-so called her husband a pig, and everyone else called each other one too."
July 7th, 2009 at 04:02am
• The commercials got me to switch. I used to AskJeeves it, but then they fired Jeeves and became all lame. So then I Yahooed for a while, but Google was always better at bringing up what I wanted. And now I Bing it. Which sounds really really cool. And, of course, there's always reliable old Wiki.

OH. MY. GOD.
I can see why it made you happy.
Tim Burton being behind it is enough. But then you read the list. Johnny Depp. Helen Bonham Carter. Stephen Fry. Anne Hathaway. And best of all, old Snape-y?
I have to see it.
July 7th, 2009 at 03:53am
• Yeah, it really does make sense.

I can only recall things though when prompted. Other than that....my mind is empty. I can only think about the present.
Yep. That's what it means. I mean, it makes sense. "Garten" is obviously "Garden." And "Kinder" is sort of like "kids." I dunno. I see how it works though.
What book are you reading?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was wondering why the name Spyro stuck out to me.
Wikipedia's awesome. But you never can really trust it. That's why I sometimes Bing. (I'm sure Microsoft love me. I purposely keep going to their site and looking up stuff (though I usually search "so-and-so wikipedia"). And I keep mentioning it in conversations. XD It just sounds funny. Bing. Bing. Bing.)

• Which reason? The irony or the destructive nature?

I have a really good memory. Now, what were we talking about?
Oh, yes, the hail. I remember everything. Long term that is. I couldn't tell you what I ate for breakfast but I can tell you things that happened a decade ago. Actually, more than a decade. A decade and a half. I can recall things from when I was two. Select things, but things all the same.
I remember a lot about Kindergarten (yes, that's spelled correctly. Coincidently, do you know the meaning of the word? It's German for "Garden of Children."). Like we learned the planets, the parts of an insect, the differences between C, K, and CK. I also finally decided to be left-handed....because I could write faster. And I had the chicken pox.

Gary Oldman's played a bunch of villians. And he was Sirius.
He's been on Friends. He played Dracula. Oh, it also says he tutored Daniel Radcliffe on bass guitar. XD
(For the record, I wikied it because I was already on wikipedia.)
July 5th, 2009 at 04:37pm
• I guess they like the irony of it.
Or they named it The Little Boy because some little boys are destructive and just plain bad?

It's hailed here a couple of times. I remember one time in particular. I was four/five. It was something I can tell you that.

Hmm...I'm trying to imagine the police guy from Dark Knight without the glasses and makeup. He might be Sirius.
Haha. I've got a joke. "Why so Sirius?" haha

The name Gary Oldman rung/rings a bell. Once you said Gary Oldman, I was like "The dude from HP?!" I just don't know whether it's Lupin or Sirius. Maybe I should Google it -- No, I'm going to Bing it -- to find out. But I'm really lazy. Maybe one day then.
July 4th, 2009 at 08:02am
• I was just thinking that. But I thought it was last year? Wait...I think it lasts for a spell.
By the way, why did they name a weather change that has devastating effects around the world The Little Boy?
Oh, and I heard there's a La Nina. And I was like "Really?"

It snowed in the 80s. But since I've been alive, it's only snowed twice. And only one stuck. But those were the best two days ever. The schools shut down. And all for like an inch of snow.

I know who you're talking about. The police guy who was "shot" and "killed" but really wasn't. And isn't Gary Oldman the guy who plays Lupin in Harry Potter?
