haaaayyylloooo :)

you might not remember me...i've gone through numerous name changes. I wrote nature's law. And I advise you to read the re-write - i've added more twists to it, and i feel that i'm writing all the things in my mind better so..yeah. I promise you it won't feel repetativ...well, the main things will still be there. But other than that it is rather different :)

even if you don't, life in the shadows is going to hopefully be updated this chrimbo so you can catch up with all the action in schwarzes loch after, what is it now?, 10 months?

Jesu Christi, that is a long time :S

I’ll remember to look into her, but it might be a while, since I have a monstrous personal reading list, haha. And who hasn’t heard of Emily (towers)? Her stories are really nice and imaginative and I’m happy she has so many fans. Although, honestly, it’s hard not to be jealous once in a while. I used to have a huge problem with jealousy, it’s not quite as bad now, but I would always think of when people would say, “Oh, ignore what she says, she’s just jealous,” and think about how I was that exact jealous bitch.

Oh, do that. It’s a beautiful thing to be. I have way too many ridiculous life-long dreams. Besides being a famous writer, I want to be a world-widely known expert of the psychology behind prejudice, a photojournalist in the Middle East and Africa, a teacher in the abhorrent and erroneous school system in southern China, an activist, and more. I’m sooo not gonna think about how much work this’ll all take…

Oh, yeah, so true. People probably wrote those adventures for the mere fact that they were unusual and not like how things were supposed to be. In that aspect, I like the 20’s more because there was a sexual awakening in women, with the flappers, but not like the 60’s where it was like, Have sex with everyone and do drugs! But the 60’s had greeaaattt music. The 60’s and 90’s are my two favorite past eras for music. And of course, the Jazz Age was cool too.

Yann Tiersen makes me feel the same. Actually, many people have made me feel the same. I fall too easily into girly fanaticism, I suspect.

That’s strange that your school would cancel Hairspray because there’s not enough black people. And that they would think that black people are the only appropriate people to play black roles. I can’t figure out if that’s racist or reverse racist. Because if you follow that line of logic, doesn’t it inevitably lead to that white people are the only people who can play white roles? IDK.

Ohh, and my school isn’t doing Les Mis after all this year. We’re doing Guys and Dolls. It seems like a really fun musical, have you seen/done it? I didn’t audition, though, too much work and extracurriculars on my plate this year.

Haha, no problem, and thanks. :)

Oh yes, I love those really-early-timesy druidy stories. Especially the ones that take place in Ireland. And especially if they’re based on Faerie folklore. One of my life missions when I was in middle school was to go to Europe to study Faerie folklore and different sites where they were reputedly concentrated and all that. It still does sound cool, now that I think of it.

And now I’ve decided that I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the Victorian era. On one hand, it’s beautiful and it’s the VICTORIAN ERA. But on the other hand, I just can’t push away how they treated women. Yes, they were very courteous, but it was because they believed that women would break if they didn’t coddle them, they were so fragile. That was why they were always fainting and getting consumption, because they believed they were innately weak. It’s in your mindset too. I mean, who faints nowadays? But maybe my brain is too obstinately modern. And probably annoyingly feminist as well.

Elvis is quite cool, though. I love the 50’s. But I almost feel bad that my fangirlism isn’t as vivid as yours.

Woow, you’re so committed. I feel like such a slacker! When I think of things that are 1/4 of my life, I’m like, Internet. O.o And then school. :/ (Okay, that would be more like 1/2. Sadly.) But it’s really ironic about High School Musical. On one hand, it’s a really big distinction for you guys. But on the other, it’s kind of embarrassing to admit exactly what it was. Am I right? And Hairspray and POTO sound so legit. I hope you have fun. I haven’t seen the movie Les Mis. But that’s the downside to musicals. You have to rent the movie because you can’t wait years for people to put it on again, and in ways, the movie is less.

I love modern shit. I make fun of it, but secretly I kind of like it.

PS. I cast one vote for Captain.

I seem to write more during school time though and in the holidays I catch up on some much needed reading and leave the story writing to others for a while. It's wonderful. :D

But at least you still have some spirit left for the story right? Some plot simmering below the surface, something you're itching to write but don't have the time for...Holidays are there for inspiration!
