about your doubt for the contest:
no, it doesn't necessarily need to be in first person. you can tell the story as an outsider narrator. you can also alternate the povs if u wish.
do whatever you feel comfortable doing, as long as you don't forget the good spelling and grammar, the minimun 500 words and of course, someone's gotta die!
